Not sure if this has been noted or not yet, or if it's even anything, but I noticed my sensitivity was different (set to the same I left it from the last update) like it was more sensitive. What purpose was that changed for?
Idea! /drop drops all your items, whereas if you do /drop 3 it drops all your dirt from your inventory. Makes life easier. If you have your inventory full of cobblestone, you can do /drop 4 to drop all your cobblestone and not have to throw it one stack by one stack. Also you could make it so you only have to type /give or /drop dirt to drop that item instead of look it up on the wiki to get the number
No, because then griefers can simply fill up their inventory with cobblestone, and with their friends at the same time do /drop 4. Instant lag.
As for the /give dirt thing, that might make sense in English, but block/item names change in other languages. What input should the server receive then? English? Spanish? French? Picking one language wouldn't be fair to the others.
Many of you seem convinced that villages can't spawn in modified worlds...
Try my seed that puts you in between two villages on superflat in every other version except this one, then tell me they didn't change something with village spawn. -3414081329078608189
The sun stutters and my overall speed is increased. Everything I do is like a silent movie - move, dig, everything is speeded up. I hope that's fixed in 1.4.

It's possible that they changed the way villages spawn independently of the change to the superflat world, so the villages aren't *missing*, but they're just somewhere *else*.

It's changed alright, but the fact remains that under certain conditions, villages still spawn.
Possible conditions:
The base can't be any higher than a certain amount (but villages can in all kinds of places on normal maps...)
The biome must be plains (isn't it always plains in superflat?)
The surface must be a certain type of block (villages can spawn on sand and grass and a few others; perhaps all others are invalid)
I'm sure there are others, and even these requirements seem iffy. After all, the village in my superflat was floating 1 block above the sand.
The superflat world options are amazing! definately an innovative idea thats been long overdue. Are we going to see more options like that for standard worlds? I think players would quickly embrace the idea of being able to spawn one-biome worlds, it would certainly benefit RP servers.
Imagine being able to create a normal survival map thats all jungle! It would be like Rambo... but with Zombies.

well...
Could I have the seed for this world? I'd love to have a known seed that generates a village on a known preset, so I can try different presets to see if and how that affects the village.

A lectern is a support for books or papers used in giving a lecture or a talk. Why would you want this?
well...
This world is just 1 layer of sand, and the village floats above it. The preset is "1;12;1".
Now for the amazing floating space village!
Try it. And P.S It's not regular superflat world.

lets see... you built the building on the left in the first picture wrong.
You blew my computer up!

Would I be correct to assume you are one of those kids who replies to youtube videos with "fake and gay"?

What is the seed to the world you found the villages in, and what settings did you choose please?
