i dont care if theres only one strong hold per world IF AND ONLY IF it is very large and there is an item that help find it(somewhat like the compass but useful)
The only bug i can find is when I enter a bed and i hold left-click down, the bed gets destroyed which makes me exit it, and am then I walk through walls but i get 'smothered' as I enter them.
I am finding that Mines place impossible objects. Not really bug more than it is a need for a smoothing of code. I have entire "hallways" of mine tunnels that float above the ground!

Yeah, Im finding alot of lighting issues, also I'm finding alot of speed issues with the game, the program seems to lag out a whole lot more than it used to, I'm scared to think what it will do to my laptop. Also, to make a huge shroom, you use bonemeal on it.

I know this post will not be read of corse. But i have been having alot of light glitches and as in when i open a chest for the first time the hole thing stays dark. Another is you can have blocks over a chest and when the chest opens the lid glitches into the block above. Umm. Well that is all the bugs i can think of at the moment.

i don't think has anything to do with Minecraft 1.8 well it does sorda but when i got TooManyItems installed and i am in creative mode and try to click in my inventory. It crashes my game if on solo and when on multiplayer it disconnects me.

also, when i try to jump out of the boat I start glitching and get stuck on the boat. I need to wait for the boat to pass under me before i can jump away.
I created a new world after getting the pre-release and it spawned me on an island in the middle of a vast ocean.
My immediate thoughts were "this is going to be the best map ever!" but upon exploring my spawn island and a few more islands withing about a 1km radius i found that absolutely no friendly mobs spawn on land, but there are plenty of squid in the ocean and an excessive amount of hostile mobs at night. I have been playing for at least 5 or 6 hours on this map and have yet to see a single cow, pig, or sheep.
After looking through some of the other posts i haven't found anyone else with this problem so i figured i should post it.

I got worse. I spawned on an island about 10x10 in the very center of the ocean. It had 1 tree, and no resources or anything. I searched for hours on a boat for any other islands and could not find anything so I was stuck on that tiny 10x10 island. No mobs or animals spawned here and there was no cave system and it didnt level out right. there was a huge drop off as u walked off my island. it dropped like 20 blocks to the bottom of the ocean right after the edge of the island. So yeah, I have bad luck. >.<
Mobs flash as if theyre in shadows, when they are not, goes the same for chests... the furnace bug is irritating, you need to lower the amounts of abandoned mines and animals drop way too much food...

I have a MAJOR bug - I was on a floating (in air) island, began taking damage, could not see any mobs, jumped into water, still taking damage, went to peaceful and F5 to see if anything there - nothing.
There seems to be a lot of crashing involving smelting
I've noticed this through others posts and personal experience
I also had a crash when I got poisoned by rotten flesh for the 1st time
EDIT: The smelting bug is really starting to aggravate me
I'm getting it pretty frequently
I got it twice in a row by putting 24 sand blocks in the top with 9 coals on the bottom
Same bug happened again - half heart damage every few seconds for no apparent reason. This happened about 3 or 4 days in and I was digging dirt both times. Can't stop it, can't eat, if I sleep it continues and if I log out/in it continues - either to death on Hard or forever on peaceful. Must die and respawn.
If it happens again I think I'll give up and go back to 1.7.3
Theres a very laggy problem when it comes to exp. When you gather tons of exp and die.... Well Massive Lag hits you
and you have to collect it back to stop the lag

The game will crash if u mess with video settings from the main menu. The only way to edit them properly is ingame.
Has Notch created an invisible mob?
i have a bug like that but mine is worse...everytime i right click a furnace so i cant smelt anything D;
