Bugs/Stuff I noticed
Putting the new meat in the furnace is hit and miss on whether the game crashes it seems. I was fine with steak last night but am now crashing on it and chicken.
Putting pretty much anything else in the furnace works just fine. Or did last night, anyway.
For some reason, The game wouldn't let me take mushroom soup out of the crafting window.
Mushroom soup doesn't stack
I only really have lag issues when entering an area with a lot of different objects in it. If that makes any sense.
I've created a bed, and when I put it down it crash the game, I saw a quick error log but disapered right away, if you need more info please let me know
I was having a severe crashing issue (like every 60-90 seconds)but when I set the draw distance from far to normal, it runs fine. Haven't encountered any bugs yet.
this game is awesome.though using the furnace (puting anything in or taking out anything) makes it act like it saves then goes black..(you have to go back in the game and it may or may not crash)
also the rendering while you are flying in creative mode is so slow (this is cool) you can see every tunnel, under ground waterfall, and lava pit/lava fall under ground (they are completely accerate too.
you can also cut through bedrock and fall to your death (if you dont start flying fast enough).
sometimes it wont let me jump over one blocks too.there is also the infinite block you cant stack it but if you move it ,it will disappear
BUG:Tundra/Taiga Biomes not generating on maps.
Created several worlds, each fresh, explored within the full size of a crafted map from spawn area, 0 snowy biomes were found. I have checked back with several friends who joined me in the effort to find snow in any of their maps to no avail.
I created a new world after getting the pre-release and it spawned me on an island in the middle of a vast ocean.
My immediate thoughts were "this is going to be the best map ever!" but upon exploring my spawn island and a few more islands withing about a 1km radius i found that absolutely no friendly mobs spawn on land, but there are plenty of squid in the ocean and an excessive amount of hostile mobs at night. I have been playing for at least 5 or 6 hours on this map and have yet to see a single cow, pig, or sheep.
After looking through some of the other posts i haven't found anyone else with this problem so i figured i should post it.
my minecraft crashes every so often and i just saved the game and went back one and i died and all my xp orbs poured out and all my stuff i was carrying was gone except one iron ingot and 4 leather and almost every time i put something in a furnace to smelt it crashes and when i craft something it crash it says saving chunks and another time it said saving chunks but it was burly and disoriented
On SMP, when having a creeper explode on you next to a portal to the Nether, it seems to create infinite exp in that area. Disconnecting or going back into the Nether seems to stop the duplication, but that was probably just because no one else was online. The exp just keeps flying at you. It's terrifying.

: when crafting and have items in crafting bench and leave crafting bench, items are dropped on the ground but cannot be picked up.

First on is that sometimes (rarely) trees generate like this one
Second, when sprinting on wood slabs (might apply for all of them), they produce grey particles.
