The time changing sounds like a tester tool they didn't bother to remove for just the pre-release.

my bug to report is that the passive mobs don't seem to spawn during the day. since Zombies don't drop feathers anymore arrows are worth their weight in diamonds now because I can't get that many

First world worked great(for hours)...fell in a ravine was hilarious, but I died. So I made a new world. Everything worked well Until I built a work bench, now every like 30 seconds the game crashes. It loads a screen with dirt as the back ground, and says "saving blocks" only the text is distorted. I have to then alt+tab, ctrl+shift+esc, and end the program. When I re-open MC and play that world it continuously crashes. I can't use alt+f4, or right click close to get rid of the crashed MC instance.

Got a bug for you, when you use shears on tall grass, you get a tall grass block.

Time change is on purpose...or at least it's listed with all the additions for this update.

When will it be released today?!

I have tried this on 2 different computers. 1 running Vista Ultimate 32 bit sp1 and the other running Vista Ultimate SP2. It seems that if you try to change the video settings from fancy to fast from the main menu screen, the game crashes instantly. More info: I deleted my entire .minecraft folder and autoupdated before I applied the 1.8 pre-release, and when I went to my settings to change this, It crashed, but everything else seems to let me edit perfectly. And I am not sure if this has to do with me using the Java 7 beta. It might though.


Please test this on other operating systems!

My game crashes when cooking pork chops.

I am so sick of endermen deconstructing my house.

I ate too much zombie flesh, so now my hunger bar turns green. Well I fixed it, but every time I log in, after about 30 seconds it says "saving chunks" and my game turns black.

Also, the game is really REALLY slow. I noticed that there are extremely large spikes equidistant in the fps graph when you press f3. This might be the game saving, but I don't care: it's really ****ing annoying.

BUGS
1. MC crashes very often - like every 5 mins or so
2. Whenever i open MC up and it was day its night and when it was night and i exited out then opened back up its day.
3. No bone meal in creative
4. Furnace and chicken = crash

ADD THIS

1. right click on tree with bukkit = you get sap.
2. use sap and bread and sugar or something and get waffles
or pancakes.

when you sleep at night you just go to sleep and wake back up in the middle of the night.

Im sure this has been mentioned in one of these bazillion posts, but when I attempt to attack mobs, I cant hold down the mouse button and repetitively attack. I dont know if this is a bug, or if its to make the game a bit harder, though

Cookies don't have the eating animation.

Every time I try to turn off fancy graphics it crashes.
