sometimes a ravine is generated in a mineshaft causing there to be floating mineshaft parts and many times ravines are generated and the roof is an ocean
In creative mode you can fly above the height limit and go on forever.
Also, I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but holding down the right mouse button no longer continues to place blocks.
I've noticed a few whilst playing. I'm playing on a Windows XP, I can run 1.7.3 with the best graphics with no problems. (This computer was built so it'd difficult to say exactly what the parts are.) I'm playing on Survival Single Player.
My game crashes regularly, about one every twenty minutes. There is no "saving chunks", it just plain closes with no warning.
When swimming in an ocean biome (or a very large expanse of water), on the up motion the horizon of the water lights up with a light blue. I can tell there's some sort of light due to swimming at night. On the down motion it goes away, but it repeats with each up motion involved in swimming.
Endermen seem to spawn very, very often. Every night for the past 20 nights I've found one either outside of my base or in the cavern inside of my mine. Also, when I look at them they turn to look at me, but when I look away they do not attack me.
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but abandoned mine shafts are always floating for me. I've found and explored six different ones, and none of them had cave spiders (I'm on hard difficulty) and they all had the doorways floating off of the ground. Also, some of the torches in these areas did not give off any light.
I haven't been able to farm mushrooms using the regular method. Grass spreading seems to go more slowly, and trees I plant are simply not growing for no reason.
All other observations of mine have been observed in the wiki.
I just found out - painfully - that Glass Panes do *not* block skeleton arrows - but they do block yours (as usual, your arrows stick and can be gathered).
Some people have talked about trees being generated in mid-air. This is a bug that has been around before 1.8, when the map is being generated (with trees), a lake is generated, replacing the base of the trees with air. This is not related to 1.8, Although I have noticed that the game lags a whole lot, and is almost unplayable on my (not very good) computer, that could handle 1.7 just fine.

- Game may crash when using a furnace (with the "saving chunks" message)
- We can break the bedrock layer and die in the void in Creative (might be on purpose)
- Sometimes when sleeping, you get back to sunset instead of sunrise
- Endermen are making the same noise as zombies
- Silverfishes are making the same noise as spiders
- We can't leave the right button clicked to place blocks continuously (on purpose?)
Mess with charging your bow for a bit.
Then go change to a Diamond Sword. Hold the right click, to block and while doing so, click F5, Use the block animation a few times, and go back into FP mode.
Now Hold Right Click, then left click, Aim at something, and let go of block.
You'll attack, and have an unlimited reach.
Doesn't work for me.

Sometimes leaving items in crafting slots in workbench forcing them to auto-drop. Then there are appearing two glitchy "infinite" items (it was with sticks and planks for me) that aren't stack with similar items and just disappearing when you're trying to stack them.

I am watcher and fan of BalkondeurAlpha's Weapon Mod!
Pardon me if these have already been posted, but I'm not browsing through 52 pages of bug reports.
1. Placing vines on any block in the Nether crashes the game.
2. NPC village buildings are blocked on some sides and will ever have their doors several blocks above ground when they spawn in a hilly area.
3. Not sure if this is a bug, glitch, or was intended; it was never mentioned as part of their behavior. Endermen will teleport away from you or even behind you when you look at them again after aggroing them.
(Wtf, this forum's spell-check doesn't recognize "teleport"???)

had a weird little bug where i was getting attacked by a skellie during the daylight. thing is... he was invisible and no where in sight. i also had recently played with the timing of the day so it could reside in there somewhere.
