Found another with chests - They (rarely) turn the whole block they occupy black when openin them, however, they return to normal when closed. Observed in SMP and SSP
i found a bug i think
when playing on creative mode i can hit mobs from insanely far distances
so pretty much i can punch mobs as far as a bow can shoot (maybe less)
i thought this was the ender pearl having magic powers (which would be awesome some one PLEASE suggest this to Notch)
but it wasn't so i think its a bug
Not sure if it's been posted yet (28 pages and all), but while playing earlier, at least 50% of the time when I would single click (to place a block for instance) it would register a double/held click (and in turn place place 2 blocks). This made building my house rather time consuming.
The first one I experienced; I was exploring a swamp biome close to where I spawned. This was right after I installed 1.8. I noticed it getting sluggish once I started killing pigs. When I pressed f3 100% of my memory had been allocated towards the game and it's usage started to pile. I didn't have enough data to present any solution.
The second one I experienced; I was exploring ocean on a boat. This time I had been playing for a solid 3-hours. I noticed it getting sluggish, which seemed to be fairly normal (my laptop isn't the best). However, it got increasingly sluggish the more I would explore, so again I pressed f3 and I noticed the game allocating memory constantly until it couldn't anymore.
The only thing I can concretely say about what I found is that I was exploring each time. So if anyone else finds the game getting sluggish to the point where it's nearly unplayable. Press F3 and look at the spectrogram looking thing. If the big red bar is now a big red rectangle filling up the entire screen. Look at the top right where it says memory allocated, if it says 100%, you've experienced the problem. It would be great if you could add to what I have found.
I know these are memory leaks due to when I close Minecraft the computer continues to be sluggish. Previous builds of minecraft never did this to me, nor do all my other programs.
Edit: Oh yeah, all of this happened in SSP (not sure if this is a huge deal).

i dont think its a bug trogdorunner! creativ mode is like survival only infinite items, flying and no damage and stuff. so you can have that stuff if you want. just if you dont want it, play on peaceful. instead of telling notch, heres a picture of a sheep instead
-lighting issues with most blocks
-Endermen are too weak, they do not respond correctly to the stare
-lava swimming in creative has glitches(lighting/is empty when one goes into it)
-paintings has lighting issues(due to position)
-endless mine shafts?!
-towns are generated on uneven soil, problematic.....

1 when ever i try to open a world i get a black screen followed by a quick flash of text which then leads back to black screen.
2 dragging the minecraft main menu around your screen causes a buggy picture to appear in the bottom left.
1. Duplication bug that occurs when you exit the workbench GUI with items still in the crafting grid.
