Thank you so so so much for posting this!!! I'm looking forward to this project so much!

Just wanted to quickly talk about two things... first, I just updated the budget to clarify the costs a bit more... that spreadsheet was originally just for me to budget everything out and then I just decided to share it because everyone should know where the money is going. I didn't really make it clear as to what the costs were but now that is done! YAY!

Second, Mojang has not hired me this year because before they even asked me to do videos again I approached them with the idea to get the community involved so that everyone could have some input as to what the videos should focus on AND we could also make physical DVDs and Blue-rays, something people have asked for, and we could have even more perks in addition for people who can't make it to the physical event.


I think Minecon only exists because of the wonderful community... and because I think that community is so awesome I thought the videos will be best if you all have input on them and can directly influence their creation!

You think the 7 million Minecraft buyers are all kids??? Are you serious? Lots of people like Minecraft, not just kids. And if you think that they'll be all whiney and be little babies, then you're possibly correct! If you don't want to be hearing all these annoying kids, don't go. But you're not going because you think there'll be crying, which there WON'T! I'm not going because I can't :(. I'll hopefully go next year, or the year after, if there is any. Now to go back to creative mode.

You are right , Minecon is all about the community and i couldn't see anyone else better then yourself to capture it on film and present it to us.

I have busted my donation budget this month , but i might just squeeze another one in there. Hopefully this project will achieve it's goal and send you on your way to capture the essence of the event for all the others that couldn't attend.

To be honest with you, whithout lewis, yogscast would be stipid. Without simon, the same thing would happen. Sips_ and Sjin, are both funny and also get things done at the same time.

I wish i could go to minecon, because it is in paris france, which is not in the states.

Just look up yogscast at Minecon and you will already see in teh suggestions bar yogscast at Minecon f bomb etc.
