The picture with the sheep... a stone fence and stone gate??? And, YAY! Display frames! That will make storing items very much easier! Will there be beacon blocks soon?
Fix everything that's already wrong with MC, instead of adding new things that will only add to the list of things that are wrong with MC.
Sincerely,
MC Playerbase.
actually most of us dont want it to be that much fixed and more new features

plus we have villager zombies and armored mobs now!
That's it? Those three little fixes are what are considered the most important? I'm sorry, did Microsoft buy out Mojang when I wasn't looking? NONE OF OUR PLAYERS HAS REPORTED ANYTHING LIKE THOSE ISSUES.
We are having troubles with authentication, server to client parity and packet exchange, chunks not saving so tons of work are lost, a huge decrease in ping due to redundencies or poor optimization (for example, why the heck was another texture folder added when all you needed was a writable data file in the original folder which basically would need to say "when at this IP, load this texture pack." Why the heck would we need instances of a particular pack in BOTH places?) This is to say nothing of the Ender Chest joke, or the fact that the client-side server has proven to be a horrible idea. We are losing players, and the equation is simple:
No players = No donations = No server = Extremely unhappy and vocal customers.
None of this was an issue under 1.25; we even switched to a high powered fast server to make sure the 1.3.1 release wouldn't be an issue. Please get the issues with Bukkit, etc., fixed with a real patch, not this joke intended, as near as I can tell, to quiet down the community for a while.
How, exactly, is the Ender Chest a "joke"? In the 1.3.1 release they made it so each player has an individual Ender Chest, which seems to work just fine...
Sounds interesting. I did not read your whole post because it's too long but for me there are only 4 things I really want to see in Minecraft.
I want fish like in Mo' Creatures or Tropiccraft.
I want dynamical background sounds.
I want the pipes, quarries and engines of BuildCraft.
I want the bug to be fixed when the player sneaks its skin's head layer part dislocates from his head.
Other than that I want everything that is included in 1.4, too.
Mo' Creatures and Buildcraft are mods. I think they should be kept just that. Although a few biome-specific mobs such as bears in the forest, piranhas in the swamp, jellyfish in the ocean, etc would be nice...
I really want an invisibility potion. I know there is an invisibility potion effect, demonstrated by the VanishNoPacket Bukkit Plugin. It simply gives you the potion effect. But potions are WAY easier.
No it doesn't. It doesn't give you the potion effect. It makes you vanish with no packet. There IS a packet when you are invisible with a potion, otherwise your armor wouldn't show up, so with hacking tools you can see the player.
Why did they not show the flower pots they came out around the same time as the item frames. I had to find out about them at the wiki, still really cool though
I was assuming they would be like a "one item" chest.
The "one item" is what is displayed, open it up remove the item and ta-da! Empty frame!
(Could be wrong though, just seemed like an efficient way to handle a frame/potted plant situation.)
Hmmm, I don't know. I thought it'd be an item surrounded by sticks, but that's a lot of crafting recipes.
Still, stick a near-broken sword into the "frame chest" and never use it again.
looks awesome!! I just wish you could put a sword on the wall with the tip of the blade facing up down or sideways
They'd have to make new art for all items in order to do sideways or up/down, but they could fairly easily allow you to rotate them so the handle is in any of the corners.
Hm... I'm noticing a bit of yin-yang between 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 in the area of fall damage.
In 1.3.1, you could survive many plummets that you previously couldn't, with damage not kicking in until after a 4-block drop. In 1.3.2 though, a fall of 19 blocks is often enough to kill you. Sometimes you can survive longer plummets like you used to be able to, but it's very random. I think this is another glitch.

I'm okay with the fall damage, if only leaves could be used to "break" ones falling.
You know, hit them leaves too hard they disappear and you start your fall from that block. Rinse/repeat
Otherwise, I think 3 blocks isn't that bad of a start point for damage. It doesn't seem that much considering Steve is almost 6 feet tall...
(I was under the impression 20' was the "dead zone" for damage while falling, but a google provides a different outlook.)
There is no fixed distance from which a person can fall and not survive. There are too many variables that will make any conclusion inaccurate.
A person can suffer a broken neck falling down a flight of stairs or from the roof of a single story home. Fatal falls might be generalized as just about anything over a few stories. Three, four or five (at 8' to 10' per floor, depending on who you talk to) floors will be the "breakover point" and it's pretty much a done deal there. Certainly there are exceptions that can be cited.
Of course, that place is what gave me the ideas for leaves breaking falls:
And a British tail gunner in a bomber which was shot down during WWII flight operations jumped from his burning aircraft at some 18,000 feet and had his fall broken by pine tree branches and soft snow. He sprained a leg.
And that only happens, what, once in a hundred logins on servers?
I've been waiting for that.

But they're not so... "mod-y". They really fit the general Minecraft thing. I think Buildcraft isn't what Minecraft is going for.
Naaw, just wait until the item is almost broken and then frame it.
