*sigh*... Emeralds are meant for trading with villagers only. Wait, I have an idea, lets make dollar bills so that we can make armor out of those to! Jeb_ put in emerald ore as an extra find, not so you can go mining for it like you would diamond.

Remember Mojang made the game. So technically the mods are copying Mojang.

What I mean is when people make mods, its based off of what Mojang made. Say a mod that makes an emerald sword. The emeralds were made by Mojang and so was the way to make the sword. So the modder there technically copied the idea from Mojang.

But im sure Mojang got permission from the mod maker to make that.

i duno if anyone had experienced this already but sometimes the inventory graphics got mashed up and when i tried to take a screenshot by pressing F2 gives a java error and game shuts down.

New/Improved Features:

• Trading with villagers has been updated
• Villagers can now trade 2 items with you (e.g. 1 emerald 10 gravel -> 10 flint)
• Enchantment system has been re-balanced
• A full enchantment table set with bookshelves doesn't go up to 50, but 30
• At the bottom of the 3 enchantments it always shows you the highest number possible
• Using level 30 you have a lot more luck; almost all items get at least 2 enchantments
• Emerald Ore can be found underground again (only in Extreme Mountain Biomes still)
• Added Tripwire Hooks
• Added potions to the creative inventory; found under brewing
• Added Block of Emerald
• Added delete item, armor and crafting to survival inventory when in creative
• Pausing should work in single-player now
• Some minor terrain changes
• Added an "adventure" game mode (/gamemode 2)
- You cannot break or place any blocks
- You can interact with any blocks like doors and levers and you can buy things from villagers

• Added cobblestone and stonebrick monster eggs to the creative inventory

Bug Fixes:

• In the redstone tab of the creative inventory, the redstone torch is now on instead of being off
• In the decoration tab of the creative inventory, the redstone torch got removed

New Bugs:

• You can place wire from the tripwire in the air and once updated it will drop string
• You can't hear TNT when you are out of an 16 block range.

I keep trying to install these shapshots but it gets stuck at the Done Updating screen. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Theres something wrong when I try to shoot an arrow it just goes shooting down and disappears

Others have said how the experience you get for mining ores will obviously be toned down, but I'm going to take a different tack on this: How awesome were your enchanted boots, sword, and pickaxe? Could you fly or something? Break down a mountain with one swing? Kill all the mobs in 30 meters?

Or could you light creatures on fire, get smoothstone from mining rocks, and maybe the boots lasted longer?

That really doesn't sound overpowered to me.

If you break an Ender Chest, the items inside will still be there.
