Went to the End in an old world and it moved the obsidian platform that you spawn on about 4 blocks lower than where it was when I originally spawned in the End. Also, couldn't seem to skip the end credits when I left the End.
I cannot punch trees and get wood. Creating a world with cheats off, I can punch trees and get wood. So it is only Survival mode + Cheats that is the problem... apparently.

Only a problem with cheats? I haven't seen that. I do fine with and without cheats.
i really like the trading feature but i still think that gold nuggets would be the better currency because i really dont like the look and stuff of emerald
another thing i dont like is that you now get XP by mining coal and crafting stuff i think thats silly and just too easy but besides that i really love the ruins that are scattered around the world (especially the jungle ones)
would be nice if somebody else thinks the same way about the currency or had other ideas

Hmm. I like the idea of the gold nuggets. Maybe an integrated system? Because nuggets drop 9 from each ingot and you only get one emerald from each ore, so the nugget could be the small currency and the emerald being more valuable?

Yeah! Minecraft is one of those games that can only get better. I really like where the devs are taking it. I hope Chickenbones continues his ender chest mod though, because it's way better than the snapshot version

Bug:
Generated new map for snapshot with bonus chest on and there was no chest just items floating around 1 torch. I spawned in jungle biome and there were leaves everywhere so I think it could be bcz the chest didn't generate on top of the leaves and couldn't generate under them so there was no chest.

Yep that would be why. I have never had the bonus chest work right in a jungle biome, even in other ones it sometimes disappears

No they wont, that's 120 levels for the 4 parts of an armor set, and you still have to find the leather for the new crafting recipe of books to make the 15 bookshelves required to enchant a level 30 item. And you need enough diamonds to gather obsidian and use to make an enchanting table. This is not a day's work.

Would you PLEASE read other peoples posts before you say its a bug. It has been said SEVERAL time that that isn't a glitch, you now gain XP for mining ores however Jeb_ still needs to balance it out so you don't get so much so fast.

I have to say, I saw some disagreement with this. But i think you're all right. Think of it like this:
add another mode "RPG mode". In this mode, unlike the sandboxing, you can now make progression. This would open up to a much wider audience, allowing RPG lovers and classic old minecraft lovers like myself to be a part of it. (Mojang should NOT make it a permanent part of minecraft, but an alternate game mode, in my opinion)
Uhh Minecraft is a RPG game AND a sandbox game. They added an end to it. Which makes a storyline of somewhat. But you can still do WHATEVER you want. Use mods, make everything you can imagine.. so its a sandbox game too. If you want a better RPG game go play something else.
There should be emerald Armor, Emerald Weapons also Emerald Tools which would be stronger then Diamond stuff

That's a cool idea! it could be used for custom/survival maps where you can only break certain blocks.

Those are cocoa beans, which are going to be farmable in version 1.3 I'm really looking forward to working with them as cookies can now be farmed.
