seriously most of you are stupid..i play minecraft on the computer...also have a degree in computer programming, as well as built my own computer running linux, i play computer games such as Crysis, Diablo, runescape, Nexuiz, ect.... but i also play xbox games like halo, devil may cry, and guitar hero. i have a kinect, and think that an arcade game like Minecraft would be a pretty fun title for the kinect.. seriously a game is a game.. it shouldnt matter what platform its on as long as its fun, and a gamer doesnt have more notoriety if he plays on a computer, console, or both. people complaining about Xbox fanboys, or playstation fanboys are just as bad as console players complaining about PC fanboys..its a game, and in order to expand it needs as much funding as possible. being an xbox title will allow it to get a bigger fanbase, as well as more funding. so stop complaining, im sure the forum will be split up like the crysis 2 forum, for PC users as well as console users..so get over it and stop complaining about things as trivial as a game going to multiple platforms..because that in turn makes you a fanboy..and makes you annoying.
Hi all. I'm an xbox "fanboy". I've owned consoles all my life, and don't really understand why PC gamers think they're so high up on a pedestal above the evil wicked consoles. But since this is such an apparent slap in your faces I'd like to point out...

I changed my min, i thought about it and realized it will b AWESOME! now me and my friend across the country will b able to play SMP, and about the screaming 8 year olds... i thank god there are no headsets on PC. i think this is a good idea, NICE JOB Notch!
You know there just as much "screaming 8 year olds" on the PC as there are on consoles, right? The only difference is a lot less people have mics on the PC than on the console. Nothing will change here on the forums except maybe more traffic. I am just amazed by the conceded PC elitists on here. But this IS the internet so... I probably should have expected it. No, you wont be able to play with other consoles.
It isn't even coming out until Minecraft is out of beta or "done" so it should have everything that the full release has. Notch said that he will keep working on minecraft as long as people keep buying it so we don't know if the xbox version will change after full release or not.
Controls? No idea. Probably something similar to FortressCraft and TotalMiner though. As for Kinect controls, i would imagine it being very difficult.
The price will probably be 1600 Microsoft Points. I'm 99% sure you will have to buy it even if you already own it on PC.
I guess my only twoquestions about the xbox release are ..... I pre-ordered it from best buy about 6 months ago from their little pre-order kiosk. If its going to be an xbla release , exactly how does one get their prepaid prerelease hardcopy.? Also, dec 2011 release was nixed, whats new date?

2. Minecraft will be more popular
