Yeah these people are saying that the call of duty players will whine, yet all they're doing is whining.
Minecraft on Xbox is a good thing, get over it.
Exactly, they're really probably all ps3 fanboys if you keep looking at everyone going "why xbox?"
they're just mad that ps3 didn't have the capabilities to merge with minecraft and if that wasn't the case they just weren't quick enough to make a deal with the owner of minecraft.
I dont understand why he's doing this, yes for money but I think Notch forgets... THE GAME IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT! (sorry for the caps but they are useful for heavily 'stating' an opinion)
First of all: There is more kiddos that plays on the ps3 :PAnd second: Yes, I agree that this is just yet another money machine. I mean, it's the completely same game just for an console. I won't buy.
I honestly dont know what to think about this... well I for one hope that the CoD/halo assholes all think this game sux that way they dont tarnish its good name but at the same time for those of us that play both pc and console (tc's rainbow six 2 FORTHEWIN) it could be kinda fun I plan on buying it oh and for the ppl that say pc sucks *cough* imoff1c3 *cough* if consoles are better than pc lets review the fact that pc has been around waaayyyyy longer than your console thats prolly going to be outdated in a couple of years but me on a pc if something goes outdated I can just fix that by replacing a part thus keeping my pc longer than you keep your xbox

(I figure this is probably the most useful post on this forum so far...not that anyone will actually read this..)

I'm glad about this to I have a Xbox there better than you people think and also Notch isnt even working on this if you listened He said all he is doing is make sure it stays true to minecraft he still is fully working on pc version
As far as I can see, this is a way to expand minecraft to a wider range of people, but I don`t understand how it could possibly work.1. Will 360 buyers have to make a minecraft.net account?2. If not: a) How much will it cost? Will it still be about 30$, or more or less? Will they be able to get it on pc for free, since they already purchased it? c) Will pc users be able get it for free on the xbox?3. If you do have to make an account a)Will you have to slowly type credentials every time you want to play? b)Will saves transfer from pc to xbox? 4. Will mods and texture packs be easily obtainable, if at all?And this isn`t even addressing kinect, and I probably forgot some things. My point is, notch hasn`t addressed any problems yet, and If he doesn`t, this project will get run into the ground.
Yay i love minecraft and now its going on somthing other then PC i wont be as addectid to the PC that much :DAlso all of you haters WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT POST ON IT

It's an arcade game. You'll play with your Gamertag. You'll most likely have to buy it again. It won't be $30, it'll be 1200 or 1600 Microsoft Points. There is a way to transfer saves from PC to Xbox in current games, like Oblivion. Notch hasn't addressed any problems yet? This was posted two days ago.
Everyone who is saying..."Noooo!" or "Why would he do such a thing?"...has every right to feel that way. I personally don't care, because I refuse to use a shitty ass invention such as the Kinect (It's a Wii-wannabe people, c'mon). So, I'd rather stick with the vanilla 360, PS3, and PC. But, I also agree with the nay-sayers. It seems, and this is just my opinion, that Notch is selling out or becoming way to greedy for his own good.
i don't see the problem the minecraft forums are already dominated by little annoying brats if they just add it to people with xbox 360 it will just add more decent people and annoying brats
I'm sitting here laughing at all of you saying "MAEK IT ON PS3 CUZ XBOX HAZ 2 MUCH FANBOIZ" while you're trashing Xbox in half of your post, making you a "fanboy" in turn for PS3.
Understand that Mojang was offered a chance for money by Microsoft. Obviously they want money, so they went for it. Maybe they haven't made the decision for PS3 yet? Something? Obviously, but it's not like it won't. There's no doubt Notch will put Minecraft out on PS3 when he get's the chance.
now..whats wrong with console?it simply makes it so every one is on uneven playing field. no one lags because they don't have enough ram. its just a standardized computer.
Well I play Call of Duty and Halo and alot of other games on xbox but I dont come on the forums to **** people off! I think this is a great idea, Notch is a smart dude and all this is doing is putting more money in his pocket so he can make minecraft on the PC better.
