I am really hating the fact it feels like I'm alone on a server. I'm having the place block "lag." I went to place a crafting table, lagged for a few seconds and it appeared, like server lag. Then when I press Esc, which should pause the game completely, it doesn't do anything except give me options. Esc = pause, Inventory = let game run over time. >o<;
Edit\\ Another thing I just noticed, when I relogged (to pause the game...), I had the falling through the void effect like logging a server, until screen was black, at which point I had to click out of the world and back in.
I tried with my already generated world, it worked fine, but every now and then when you log on no chunks load and you fall in to the void (along with all the other mobs around you),forever not dieing, untill you relog and everythings back to normal....
It seems to have completely crashed my SSP game... I can't play it at all now. I had a nice little kingdom going too Everytime I load I just fall into the void, along with every villager around me.
The chests are far from pointless. For example you can put one in your base and another in a mine. When you mine stuff and don't have room for it all you can place it in the chest. Fill up your inventory again and head back to your base. you now have what you placed in the chest and what;s in you inventory. You can also put one at an End portal and one in the End which you'll have access to in both worlds.
New problem for me - I can't load any game at all. I saw what the OP said about not being able to load a previous version's world, but I made a new world and saved it, and it won't load now either. It just drops me into the void. It seems like this version is entirely incapable of saving.

> New worlds load w/o terrain and you fall endlessly into the void. Cheats / SPC do not work.
> Ender chest contents can be accessed by other players. Great for long distance trading though. So maybe a private version can be added that is linked to the server side inventory of each player.
