Great idea, but we put it on the server I am on, and it was unplayable. The lag was insane. The server is hosted in the UK, and I play in Canada. It was just as bad for my British friends as it was for me. Block lag, mobs movements were choppy, could barely hold a text conversation. 1.3 is a long way off.
I have Huge Lag >50ms on 12w25a Server, 16gb of Ram, Quad core, 60/35mbps connection, Shouldn't take >1 second to register hits/block events.
Being able to place more things on upturned half slabs and stairs is nice, if you're using those for decorative purposes.
I'm happy that stairs in all flavors of wood will be included. This is probably where the multi-coloring of blocks using the wood-plank texture will stop, because to make fences of different colors, they'd need to differentiate sticks by wood type. However, if they start coloring log cross sections differently based on log type, that would be pretty cool.
I know that coloured fences wouldn't really be possible because they are crafted with sticks, but maybe different fence colours can be crafted by adding a differently coloured plank into the crafting grid when making them. It would make them cost more, but we would have our wish of coloured fences.
Change the middle column of fences from 2 sticks to one plank, and you get the same material cost and the ability to make colored fences.
If you buy picks from him is he gonna have infinite picks? I don't think so. And do you think someone who has bought a stack of wheat going to buy more from you? It only makes sense that this 3-per-deal rule exists.
Makes more sense that as you flood the market with stuff you sell, the price will drop; and, while buying out the stock may temporarily remove that, it will also drive the price up when it does return.
Besides the villagers deleting options after 3 trades, I'm liking this snapshot.
I feel like deleting a trade is unrealistic in the sense that people who want to make market places run by villagers will no longer be able to do so. I mean, when you trade with someone a lot, doesn't that mean they like you more so they're willing to trade with you more.
I mean, they already keep updating the prices of some of their wares, they don't need to stop giving you stuff.
And its not as OP as it seems, seeing as how it takes forever to actually accumulate a large amount of emeralds from past experience.
Some people don't want to trade for 5 iron tools before being allowed to trade for 3 diamond picks and then have to get more iron boots and stuff....
Kill some villagers and make the rest have babies. Manual trade reset.
If they are going to make trades disappear they should make old trades disappear after a period of time too. That way you dont get stuck with villagers offering a bunch of horrid trades. Forever. Surely they must be trading with someone other than the player, right? What is fueling their economy?
Also I think they need to rebalance the trade system. 19 wheat = 1 emerald; 5 diamonds = ...1 emerald?
But overall great work Mojang, loving the snapsnots.
Oh nice! More porkchops dropped by pigs... Make the game EVEN FREAKING EASIER mojang. I'm sure fairly soon retarded 3 year olds will be able to play Minecraft because of how easy it is.
Oh shut up. Every other update people whine the game's getting easy, but it's still the same "creeper sneaks up behind you and pushes you off a cliff" that everyone loves. OH NO! I HAVE MORE PORKCHOPS! WHAT SHALL I DO!?!
