to be like 1.7.3, the mountains need TREES! thats why now i dont like mountains. No trees.
then plant some f'ckn trees, people complaining about terrain generation are getting rather unoriginal, Mojang eaither needs to get Terrain Generation back like old school, or people should just fix their terrain to their suited needs, you know, like in real life?

Villagers need to turn into zombies once killed by a zombie... March 24th 2012
If that dinnerbone guy was talking about these minor updates making us explode with excitment and rage at the same time then he has a pretty poor grasp of what gets people excited! I'm sure there is something big they want us to find that we just havent found yet!

Well it can't be something significant, because people have been searching the game and the coding since this came out and haven't found anything besides minor improvements plus the new creative inventory. (Yes, I hate it a lot.)
Stop complaining about your dang mods. Mods aren't apart of them game, there just things added that are supposed to make the game better. (They make it worse in my opinion.)
I've been using Strongestcraft to check the subterranean cave generation and it looks... well.. different. less cavey and more organized. Can anyone else confirm or have I just hit like 20 random seeds in a row that lighten the siss chese land gen?
I have a theory...
Maybe Mojang isn't telling us what they are adding because it is something that doesn't really concern regular players, only the coders. So maybe, they are adding hooks and loops, so to say, for the mod system and since they promised to give use a new snapshot every week, we simply got the one with the half-built Mod API?

I really dont get why people want less caves? block filled underground is boring and uneventful, why would anyone want to search hard for caves? i love to be able to just dig around and find caves with ease, makes the game much more interesting. Mining by using the cave systems and making your own shafts where needed is much more interesting than making a boring manmade shaft.
That's right, this week sees the release of the 12w15a Snapshot, ready for testing! What has been added, changed or removed for this version? That's a good question - this Snapshot's changes have been hidden!
Want to test it out anyway? Can you find the hidden features and fixes? If so, click the links below - we will be exploring the update for surprises, so keep an eye out right here for details!
Today's Diamond looks at the Iron Golem - he can defend villagers from all aggressors, but can he cook? Watch and find out!
one of the secrets is that when you finish a pick it automaticly cjanges to the next of the same kindanother secret is when you finish a pic it automaticly changes to the new one of the same kind. i think it has to be on top
Having a censored change log for a testing snapshot is just plain idiocy.
The entire point of even releasing snapshots is so people can test the changes and find bugs.
Making the testers guess what they have to test just increases the odds that MORE bugs will slip into the final product.
Minecraft does not need more bugs.
on the flip side censoring the change log means all us playrs start touching everything looking for changes maybe its under the hood like render or spawn rates or something boring they can just read all the comments and see if we notice

sad part is that i tend to dig and dig and end up at bed rock more times than i find caves, even less old mine shafts lol
