Minecraft has an incredibly diverse list of community-made mods to choose from, so many that, at times, it becomes hard to know what to play - they're all a ton of fun, after all. What if the tables were turned, though? For example, this video by CaptainSparklez shows an incredible Left 4 Dead 2 mod, that brings Minecraft into the world of the zombie apocalypse! Textures, character and monster models, sound effects - all of it is Minecraft-related. If not for the occasional gunfire, it could almost be mistaken for Minecraft itself - take a look!
Free Minecraft T-Shirts?
We are giving away 10 Minecraft T-shirts, and you could win one! The process is as easy as finding dirt blocks:

...wait, that's it?
Yep, that's it! No sign-ups, no stipulations - as long as you're a registered member of the forum, and a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada, you can sign up! Head on over and submit your entry as soon as possible, these shirts will go fast! Full details of this giveaway can be seen here. Good luck!
All the mods are included in the map. No need to do anything special but download, unzip, and install the .vpk map file. Also I've played this and its fantastic. Almost looks as good as Minecraft with shaders and texture packs haha.
It's kind of annoying that all the giveaways, offers and competitions are for US/Canadian residents only.
I can understand the issues with shipping etc, but it would be great if there were also competitions and giveaways for people in other parts of the world
lol, I don't think so It didn't say "US and Canada only because Europe sucks." It just is only available in the US/Canada for whatever, non-racist reason
Well that's not exactly fair. Even if the t-shirt give away's source is in the US or Canada, there are a good hundred countries with people who play minecraft, possible more so than most or even all residents in the US and Canada. A lot of give aways or only contained to those two countries and, although I can understand the expenses of sending items across the world, it can still be managed if given enough effort. I'm sure people who reside outside of the US and Canada would be willing to wait a longer duration of time so long as they can get their hands on one as well. Sorry, but I find it racist.
ahh another 'US or Canadian Residents Only'. I live in Australia and these annoy me so much, i was keen for buying a premium curse account when they had all those comps around the time of the minecon, especially when they had the competition where you could win a pass to it. there has been many of times when i would of bought a premium account on curse the only reason i haven't is because only US and Canadian residents can enter all of their comps. I know the majority of the time this isn't because of Curse but the companies such as Jinx but i think it would help Curse and many of the Companies if they held competitions that included wider variety of population using the site such as us Australians down here.

I agree - the rest of the world miss out ... again.
As for the shipping, looking @ P&P to UK, it's about ~£6.00 - £7.00 (for an XXL tshirt - yeah, OK I'm 'big boned' !!!)
Now I don't know about you but if all winners were in the UK - that's £60-£70 Jinx! would have to pay out to ship them (I guess even more if it was elsewhere in the world) which may be considered a bit too much of a 'loss' for them (how much is P&P to USA/Canada ??)
However would anyone mind paying 'a bit' towards P&P (or even the full amount ??) for a prize they won in a free prize draw ??
I guess I would be willing to pay ~1/2 towards it (£6.00 seems a bit much to the UK IMHO - I've seen other US companies charge less P&P to the UK than that, but I guess it depends on the item)
