Wow that is an amazing drawing, and I would love to get that PC and of course add the maximum specs i can after that and have the best server out there XD.
Hey guys I am the creator of the diamond server! I'm pumped that I'm on the front page and had to make an account. Thanks for the support and thanks Notch for making a great game. Right after I posted my server I also saw a chest based server and another user created a jukebox style. Lots of creativity in physical and digital worlds. Thanks guys it was a fun build and cutting and drilling acrylic sucks!
Nice computer! I have one of those i5 2500K's myself, and they are THE BOSS.

Awesome job Stas9394, truly beautiful and creative image you did! And I absolutely love the Diamond Cube tower made by plastiqmanb, Great to see the Minecraft community creating such amazing things!
awesome drawing, quasi decent computer setup, 2500k on a locked motherboard = makes the K useless, Power supply is a very bad brand that has been prone to catching fire and exploding, not a good combo
You can build a minecraft server for under $300 dollars if you can optimize it only for server hosting.
a dual core cpu isn't always necessary as you are going to be optimizing it so it won't be running anything else except a linux os and the server.
The server on it's own won't drain the cpu sufficiently, and for anyone who wants a boost can add a SSD to boot the OS in.
Ram is cheap so 8GB is sufficient.
AMD Cpu would be the cheapest to build for a pure minecraft server, and looking up specific brand for it can help too.
Estimates:
Cpu + Mobo = ~$150
Ram = ~$50
HDD = ~$50 (Hard Drives are expensive as hell these days)
Case = ~$50
You can do plenty with a linux os to host the server anyhow, I've heard that linux can do various networking tweaks and such.

I shopped smarter as the K was cheaper vs the standard 2500 proc. Also can i get some sources please for the FPS power supply?

Apple beat you to it a decade ago.
I think he was saying that it should be red like redstone because diamond blocks don't glow.
