I use the dupe glitch all the time because i am the sort of person that likes to build big structures and redstone circuits (i even found my own bud switch that is 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks tall on the PC). If you complain about others ruining your worlds then just dont let them join in the first place (even if the people have to be in the friends list of a player currently ingame to join), you can easily do this by checking the invite only box.
Everyone stop asking for mods (even if I want them as much as you) because unless they work out a way to make a program made in java act like it is in any of the C programming languages the modders will need to know how to program in the C languages for the mods to work. Even if the modding API is made for people to make mods for the xbox (like they plan for the PC) you would need knowledge of the language. skins and texture packs are very possible however (you can do it on the xbox already if you can get into the games code and images anyway, this has been down by thousands on the IOS version for the ipad, iphone, etc).
I am open to comments about this post to help others and myself find out something new.
I hope you can easily understand this post and I have helped you (even though i got off topic a bit).

So how many strings did Warchicken pull to get a server on digital diamonds, especially considering that he just renamed an already existing idea that has been around for months.
Ok first off, Thank you for adding an update/bug fix so quickly, alot of games take months to do the first update.. I am also wondering if the fixes for clay and such will be retro active to existing game saves or if we have to start new..
And thank you for fixing that Duping glitch, GET RID OF SHORTCUTS that take away from what people with real Creative Talent can do with what they have.. that being said:
People bother me,, Half of the whole game is to MINE your materials, i.e. MINEcraft, If you run out of material start a new game.. And i hear there will be a creative mode coming out for the 360 eventually as well. I personally choose not to DUPE. Having to actually MINE all my material satisfies me better.. A bunch of lazy people out there who only want short cuts and cant actually do the work to get to the goal..
People who are whining about the dispenser glitch being patched; it was bound to happen. People who are whining about people duplicating; you are communists. " Oh no somebody is doing something I don't like or approve of. Let's make it so they can't." Leave the free world. You are the problem.
Ok I've read all of the comments thus far, and I have to say, why is the dupe glitch so important? Creative mode will be out soon enough, so don't worry so much. They're fixing the glitch so that its fair to people who play legitimately to create massive structures in their SURVIVAL mode game, work hard mining, gathering, and smelting. The dupe glitch really does take away some of the enjoyment, in all honesty. I personally didn't even know it existed until spending a few hours lurking the forums here.
That being said, there are a few pros to the dupe glitch though, like it could be used to dupe clay/brick in a world where its virtually nonexistant. I can see the practicality there. But when I take a well rounded look at the issue, I think of things the glitch could really affect negatively, the leaderboards like mentioned, and suppose sometime in the future we have minecraft tournaments, or marathon contests, it just affects the overall FAIRNESS of the game.
So don't stress it, Creative mode will give you exactly what you're craving from minecraft on the 360 without the workaround. I have both the 360 and PC version, and for those that don't know what creative mode is like, its quite an experience. Just be patient and understand that the dupe fix is for the better of the community.

Then why is there a creative mode at all if it's MINEcraft? What if you don't want to start a new map cause your current build is huge. Your lack of imagination disturbs me. Lazy? You call those who spend hours and hours building giant projects who just want to save a little time on gathering materials that can take even more hours lazy? Get off the high horse.

Creative mode won't be out for the 360 for months at the least. That's not soon and to fix the dupe bug would be to discourage those who enjoy building more than collecting resources.
How does it take away your enjoyment if someone in their own game dupes their stuff? that's like before creative mode was reintroduced on the PC to rail against inventory editors and the like. How does it effect the leader boards besides giving rails that have to be placed anyway and people could just make small circles and ride them infinitely anyway? There are no leaderboard stats that I can tell that are affected by having 64 stacks of 64 diamonds or stone or wood.
Yeah if we had contests then it'd be up to the host to determine those sorts of things but those are the rules of the contest- not the rules of the game.
How is it unfair that some people dupe in their game and choose to build like that? It's their personal game and if they try to dupe in your game to out do you, just kick them.
again, we don't know when creative mode will be available but going by the current rate it will be months before creative comes- in the meanwhile the community base will hemorhage builders, good builders, because they'll not have the time to collect the resources necessary and they'll lose interest in favor of other games- especially as Fall rolls around.
Also again MY PERSONAL WORLD IS LEGIT, but I play with some dupe users in their worlds who have made wonderful, amazing things and I'm fighting for their ability to continue building as such.

I know people who made a roller coaster "WITHOUT" The duping glitch. and it's a big roller coaster

I make big things legitly too but some things are simply too large to do with collecting the materials and having a life. A roller coaster is a relatively easy thing anyway..

My problem is if i post a picture to the forums of my build that is fairly large and looks decent and build legitly, than someone comes along and posts a pic of theirs and its roughly the same size yet built by duping, than mine doesnt seem all that awesome.... i truly dont care if people dupe.. what im trying to say is two things built similarly yet one person used a duping gitch, or creative mode for that matter... than whos is better.. and how do we distinguish the difference... its the same in any game.. take modern warfare 2 for example.. is it as cool to be max level 3 days after the game launches cause you cheated or glitched.. or is it better to spend the time and WORK for what you do...

AND.. half the builds i see that are obvious DUPING are just people making statues of mario bro's and minecraft baddies.. how is that creative...

What if 4J Studios just put the mods into the game, leaving them available to be checked off and on such as "death cards" in CoD WaW? That would make them "features" instead of mods, so to speak, and would keep other 3rd party modders from getting into the game!
Thanks you.
That sensitivity was driving me crazy, would be heaps slow and clunky ingame, so you turned it up and then the inventory etc. was nearly impossible to control!
