They still need to fix that issue where no words come up when loading a world. It just bothers me....

Possible bug in 12w23b when holding stacked empty buckets and "shifting" while filling buckets. I was filling buckets with lava while "shifting" on a ledge and buckets seemed to duplicate in inventory, when you attempt to use them the duplicates disappear.

Wasn't the texture packs being detected if they're in folders, not zip files, a feature implemented around 1.1 or 1.2? I make my own personal texture pack and I noticed this when my texture pack template folder (not zip file) appeared in the texture pack list.

How do the trip wires work? (first time posting but long tie reader)

Is anyone using this snapshot having problems trying to relocate their player position in single player maps?

I have tried several times now to relocate my player to a different part of a map mostly for convenience's sake, using MCEdit r1000 beta open source version, and lately these edits have not been taking effect.

I play a lot in peaceful mode and it's weird to find that my player will not relocate to an area where I want him to be.

Hopefully Vertical Half Blocks get added soon, they would be awesome.

Is it me or has monster spawning parameters have been changed? I was in my stripmine when I heard a sizzle and suddenly I was killed by a creeper. Mineshafts were 2x1.

If there's a suitable spawn spot somewhere they can spawn if the light level is right. If I want to do serious stripmining I do it in peaceful mode if it's single player, in multiplayer you have to beware of random creeper attacks from anywhere dark enough for them to spawn.

Cows need to be tuned to dropped leather more reliably. I slaughtered 12 cows last night and got 28 steaks and... 7 leather. That's horrible given that you need 3 books per bookshelf. Hopefully it gets a boost

I can never seem to download these. I follow all the steps and then the loading screen stops at like 95%, it says Done Loading but it just stays there for like 30 minutes and then it just closes... Smh... If someone can help. That'd be great.

There is, but it is not in game. People have to opt-in with that type of thing. The thousands of private servers should not be automatically listed for any griefer to join and destroy.

So you replaced the old minecraft.jar in your bin folder of .minecraft with minecraft closed, and did not hit "Force update" at login?

I noticed this too, while coincidentially getting lava from a village forge. idk if it's just with lave, may try it with water soon.

Edit: Gave me an extra bucket with water but i used up the 2 buckets i had made.
