The update was very dissapointing. No new content just new options and bug fixes. Nothing amazing I honestly wish i could be refunded 1.6 sucks :l. Total Miner is better compared to MC360.
I don't want to sound mean, but at least it's not classic, be happy that mc on xbox is even beta! If you want actual updates, just wait a while, mc on xbox will catch up to the PC and will start updating at the same time as PC version.
What bugs me (heh, get it?) about the new update is the fix for the dispenser glitch- now you have to get everything LEGITIMATELY. The bug was really the only way we could get more items for big projects, stuff that you might need more for something BIG and didn't feel like going out and collecting all of that. The bug was sort of the equivalent of an inventory editor to the PC version, except that you just had to find one piece of the resource that you had to duplicate. Unless Mojang and 4J figure out someway to put in cheats to the game, now you have to find everything legit. Ugh....

You know atleast 4j takes there free time and hours coding everything which takes a long time. Well you try coding if you think you can do it.

Think about the builders on the 360 version. Do you really think they're glad about the bug fix? Because last time I checked, there was no creative mode in the 360 version, and that bug was simply the way to get a creative-like feeling. I certainly wouldn't enjoy trying to find all those black sheep and dyes when trying to make a 10x10 Darth Vader pixel art in the 360 version. (And don't comeback me saying why don't I go on the PC version, because, SOME PEOPLE have Xboxes, but not a PC). So stop being glad about the dispenser fix, most people are mad, because THAT SPECIFIC GLITCH was their way of having free imagination and free building, because remember? This was ALL before 1.8, and before creative... so go say that to somebody else.
The "anti-griefing' feature to stop lava from being placed at the spawn needs to be optional. It is really annoying if you and your friends are trying to build an obsidian generator or doing anything that involves lava.

Dude it's called an opinion. You can't tell someone to stop being glad over something. To me that's kinda of dumb but yeah the glitch was ok but I guess I didn't like the way my friends used it, but Idk why you mention people not having the PC version. I mention nothing about you having it or not -.-. But I see what you mean but I don't think you got my point but im just me and your you so we all have opinions. I also already knew this was before 1.8, I have had minecraft since beta 1.5_01 but idk why you seem so mad I was just x expressing my opinion.
That Wasn´t A Update, i´ve updated and what i´ve seen:
1. Apears the Player´s name on screen, and that´s only is useful for newbies that are confused. 2. The brightness is lower, you must edit on preferences panel to return to normal. 3. Appears a Option, Remove Tips. When i find Diamond by the First Time, i didn´t noticed. The Tips said me "Wow, you find Diamond! Mine it!".With no tips, i never would find Diamond In the Xbox 360 Edition, and never would go to the Nether on Xbox 360.
I've always been too lazy to try and figure out redstone and I've been playing Minecraft for over a year and a half lol. It took someone posting a redstone tutorial on the MC forums to finally make me get around to it . Laziness FTW?

It's been a month and the best they could do was fix the only good glitch in the game (but leave all of the ones people actually want fixed) and add a few menu options. Whoop dee f*cking doo.
