Awesomesauce FTW! Can wait for 1.9! =)

Am I the only one who's being turned away from Minecraft now because of all the extra content? It's like it's steering away from the original sandbox ordeal. There was a time back when Nether support in SMP was the big deal, along with maps. There was a time when I hoed the grass to get seeds, before tall grass. There was a time when people speculated pistons like Endemen.

Slower than 1.8, but it seems good. I turned around and I was getting looked at by some sort of freakish monster 0.o I later learned that's a villager. Friggn stalkers.

I love how most people post before reading the other posts. I'm more or less loving this new update, just eager for a cartoony texture pack to come out for it!

My opinion on it:

Looks pretty cool. They're splitting everything up, again, though. Which makes me kind of sad, as I run a server and I don't want to keep having map resets xD.

Nether **** is all awesome, i'm loving it so far.

NPC's look like hilarious squidward monks, but that's okay. I'm sure they're just a placeholder, and besides, they don't do **** yet, they're just there to prove that THEY CAN MAKE NPC'S, AND THEY CAN MAKE THEM WALK AROUND >:[

Only thing I really don't like are the snowmen. I dont' know, they just look stupid to me. What's the point? It feels like he's just adding in random **** with the snowmen >___>.

But other then that, sounds cool. I'm not doing the pre-release though, i've just been watching videos on it. Pre-releases are strange. They would spoil it for me really (the experience), but at least they get good bug testing from it.

PS: Shut the **** up, you retarded people with your decimals. i was confused too, but if you would read some ****ing posts you would understand that the patches don't follow regular decimals, 1.10 would be after 1.9 as it would mean version 1, patch 10.

I am not sure why others are having low FPS, I'm getting 120fps solid. I noticed one of the bugs, when I jump my XP bar goes up!

Edit: looked at the wrong number, FPS is actually 160 to 190 FPS.

aww, but I like jumping up and down repeatedly. :sad.gif: Otherwise, it seems awesome.
