I think that some people in the yogscast group got big heads and decided that thay are better than everyon els. Simon and lews most likyly had nothing to do with this. thay like notch and minecraft.good point.

Theres a difference between what you think and what actually happened. Theres many reasons why Notch could have gone off. We wont know until the second side of the story is released
I'm listening to this. I don't guarantee that all of this is factual, but it's at least something that tells me what Notch may have been upset about.

I'm not convinced you've watched the whole thing as I haven't even finished yet. And mind you, I'm sure not everyone has 'seen everything'. This isn't just for you, kay?
And I don't agree with everything he says, what he says is up to him and his opinions are for him. All I'm looking for are the videos that he's presented for us in the video so I can understand where Notch has gained frustration from.

Omg. Opinions are meant to influence people towards the truth if backed up by facts, this guy had facts but his opinions on them were wrong as you could clearly see through out the video. Yes somethings he had said are fact and we already knew it, hell we have 64 pages of answers right here. Him preaching his propaganda with out even knowing the full story makes him full of ****. Is that all you can post? The audio and video of minecon + Notches tweets are enough for anyone to form their own opinion.
Basing a opinion on only half the facts is what fools do, without any conclusive data and response from both party's, no ones opinion is right. Whats even worse is the people choosing sides from witnessing such videos with out knowing all the facts.

Considering now a days the Yogscast posts much less minecraft videos then a lot of other youtube channels nor have they ever had a time more then once when they posted enough minecraft to be considered a "Minecraft Channel". If a channel more well known then the Yogscast, Smosh for instence, and they posted a couple minecraft videos I don't think that counts as making minecraft big let alone a "Minecraft Channel". For this reason I strongly disagree that the Yogscast were the ones who made minecraft "big". We can all agree the youtube community contributed to the growth of minecraft but no idividual channel made minecraft big.
Simon/Lewis were clearly joking most of that. The kid in the video was over reacting and nit picking. I'm rather curious why some of his "evidence" is Audio and some Video. The Audio parts are clearly excerpts from Yogscast videos. I suspect the excerpts were played back to the conventioneers, as a summary of what the Yogscast(YC) is all about.
Perhaps the language is an issue, but were there guidelines regarding Language? If not, then it would be hard to criticize YC on that point, it would then lie at the feet of the Convention Organizers. If there were guidelines, then YC needs to apologize. I suspect there may have been a miscommunication regarding this issue and/or Notch later received a pile of complaints that ended up birthing this whole controversy.
I'm not sure what the context is regarding the YC speaking event. If they were there to speak about themselves and/or Yogsbox, then I don't see anything controversial about what they said joking or otherwise. Yogsbox, the Mods it uses, and all other Mods are specifically designed to add more to Minecraft. This is also true of most other Games available on PC, they have been popular for over a decade for the very fact that they improve Games, regardless how good/bad they were.
