@Bubba Why should one group get paid to go? Those people have been successful, unless they don't have any kind of budgeting scheme, I'm pretty sure they'd of had the money to go.
It's not at all stingy to pay celebrities money to attend something big, in fact I'd see it as the opposite, I see it as unfair, everyone who plays minecraft has probably told some friends about it, therefore I think I can safely say that everyone who has played minecraft has contributed to it's popularity, if that one group get's paid, everyone involved will want to get paid.
It's just not practical, I think Mojang were doing a good thing by rejecting that request, and I say request, not demand, because I highly disbelieve that anyone should demand such a thing.

he was signing "**** off", "**** you and this game", "piece of ****" to kids ranging from 10 and up.
but that's his character, the "angry video game nerd" all his videos are extreme rage, cussing, destroying game cartridges, etc.
Same with Doug from thatguywiththeglasses.com his signing at comiccon was signing ****off, and many of his catch phrases which are obscenity laced to kids, teens, adults.
cause that is what they are known for.

Absolutely agreed my good friend. I don't talk to resisting people, as it is useless to even make them look at the facts. They make up things and make them look like facts so that the side they're going for makes it look better for them, then it spreads around to this time right now where people are calling each side names and what not.
In other words, useless nonsense. Thank god for that, otherwise I would no longer be entertained!
Its kind of a shame that its degrading to pointless insults and finger pointing. IT was fun when we still had something to poke the bear with. Now all thats left from the original topic seems to be about them supposedly swearing at the kid. I dont know about any other Americans in here, but I heard ten times worse than that just on my schoolbus in the morning on my way to school, back when I was in kindergarten. I hear it so often now that I dont even respond to it. It surprises me that anyone actually did.

HEh, I dunno. Simon seems the kind of person to secretly plan on trolling the world and talking with Notch to get it done. I dont think thats the case, but it does seem like something he would do.

I would put an age limit for Minecons, however then I'd get flamed because kids would roll around on the floor screaming about it, and no one wants to deal with that.
It's bad on Notch's end for both sides on this, if he goes one way he has to deal with children around adults (whether mature or immature), the other way he has to deal with screaming and upset children.
