He can say what he thinks about the Yogscast, but how the "Notch Fans" act are on them. It is that fan's fault for not thinking of both sides first, not Notch's.
I feel sorry for the way that guy must have treated the Yogscast. It was a childish thing to do. This is what I meant by taking in the facts from both sides rather than being biased when only one side is out there.

He didnt steal the idea. He got the idea while working on something similar,but has changed it into something completely new. Apart from being overworked and letting some things slip that he shouldnt have, what has he done that is all that bad?
1. We dont know the full story this is just a few lines of tweet. And we dont know if Notch has misunderstood the Yogcast
2. British people have a special way of making fun and (kidding around) No offence!) But I have a grandmother from GB and shes abit annoyING at times. But it ends up in me understanding what se really ment and we get friends again.. Lets hope this is the case.
PS. I have to say... Yogcast have been getting in loads of people to buy minecraft. But if this is true They are not allowed in any way of taking credits.
People are blowing this waay out of proportion. We have only heard one half of the story and people are ready to jump on a side. There could be many different conclusions to this.
Perhaps it is just a misunderstanding. So a kid asked the Yogscast to sign something that Notch also signed, and they made a joke that included "f*ck you". It was never said that the conversation went,
Kid: Hey Yogscast will you sign this for me?

However, I dont believe Notch would be watching how they sign as he is busy himself, it could have been that they were all tired (and maybe drunk?) and Simon and Lewis just made a joke that they did this, without actually doing it. Notch could have believed that. They did, for a fact? You were sitting next to them when it happened? No. Notch tweeted that they said they were going to, not that they did it. As far as the Yogscast demanding to be payed? I can understand them asking since they did, in fact, bring some awareness to Minecraft. They never said they made Minecraft what it is. There is an interview someone did with them and Simon said he believes Mojang and the Yogscast have contributed to each others success. Not, "Yea we made Minecraft super popular and deserve a huge payout for coming to Minecon." It's understandable that they asked about it. Why not? There's nothing wrong with asking.

Notch is just a bad coder. Seriously, he is. He is quite creative, though I think many other developers could have done a much better job.
Well, to make it fair, Notch made the whole game, NPC Villagers made Villages with villagers in it.
Is that as much as the whole Minecraft game itself? Nah.
Though I do agree that I like NPC Villagers more than the villages Notch has made. (;

sounds to me like some dumb**** from the yogcast who was not speaking for the group as a whole did something extremely stupid. hopefully this is the case and that person will get what is coming.
