I think the reason this is getting out of hand is because people are starting building arguments planted on rumors and not facts. Please stick to facts and acknowledge that speculations aren't the truth when forming your opinion or else you're contributing to the development of a senseless flamewar.

im gonna say this now. yogscast suck. seananners and X are who made minecraft famous. Yogscast are only famous because they are only capable of entertaing 5-12 year olds with their lame acting and crappy jokes.

if they wanted to get paid before hand they should have said so. before hand. DO NOT GO if you do not get paid. do not get there then realize that you deserve something.

the only reason i lean more to Notches side at the moment is how rude they have become over time in their videos. I would not put it past them to make fun of fans in public..(without realizing it.) BUT people need to not over react over this. this does not make them bad people who have swelled heads over how famous they are.

it seems( to me ) it was just a big misunderstanding and miscommunication between people.

They always have been, and always will be, assholes. Glad to see confirmation of the idiocy of the Buttscast.

If what notch said was true, Simon and Lewis went too far. I would ban them from my game and refund them the money if I were notch. Sure, they might have made it popular, but they weren't seeking fame in the first place... Now they are too cocky and full of themselves.

I'm not going to take a side but no matter what Notch can't really lose anything here. People who side with Yogcast have already paid for the game, while people who side with Notch can simply not follow Yogcast.

So if it is true then Yogcast have screwed themselve over.

I'd like to wait for Yogscast's side of the story before making any assumptions or conclusions. Yeah, Notch's own anger in his Twitter is pretty much justified, but I really wanna know more, since I wasn't in Minecon to see and know what happened. Still, even as someone who isn't much of a Yogscast fan, I find this whole dispute (and Notch's recent Twitter posts) shocking.

If the yogscast really did that, I wouldn't be surprised. The only reason their popular is because they made that role-playing bull**** out of minecraft. They can't even play the game like Its suposed to be played. All their fans are either dumb enough to listen to their terrible commentary and watch their failed attempts at custom maps, or watch them for only shadow of isriphel.

Im telling you I was a slight bit confused on why they didn't have so much coverage on it, when they had tons on gamescon.

You know, even if the Yogscast did act like a bunch of d-bags, calling them out on it on Twitter is every bit as d-baggy, and is even childish and unprofessional. It's entirely possible both parties are at fault, and they should kiss and make up for no other reason than to stop the "us vs. them" that's currently going on in the Minecraft community even though no one knows the whole story. So y'all should just sit down and wait it out(and let's just hope both parties just don't shoot themselves in the foot).

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear. I didn't mean Notch would ban people. I meant basically if people were on yogcast's side and they didn't want to play the game they couldn't get their money back.

That wouldn't affect Notch, however if people disagreed with Yogcast and decided to unsubscribe then it would affect them at least a bit.

I don't follow Yogcast, I had heard of them but it was PaulsoaresJr who got me into minecraft.

Why do I Think it's going to become a he said we said BS argument.Seeing the comment from the yogs we will see it in full graphic detail tells me this will be drawn out.
