I'll wait till I hear Yogscast's side of the story to actually have an opinion but I've always been weary about big stars like them, they tend to take it for granted and be total jerks. I just hope it isn't true, I enjoy their work and they would lose all my respect if this is true.
if u watched the notcch interview on yogcast channel u clearly saw simon lewis and notch getting along just well so it is obbisouly someone else from yogcast not simon or lewis go to there chnnel to watch the interview

This is what i hate about notch fanboys. None of them know when tell if hes right or wrong. Yes he made minecraft and he can say what he wants about the video makers. But that won make him right.
I doubt the yogscast asked for money, more likely they asked politly if thier fees and minecon entry fee would be taken care of by notch, and notch overeacted. especially since even tho they got a panel, they still had to pay to enter.
From his interview with simon and lewis, u can see notch isent massively charismatic, he honestly doesent look like hes social. So he probalbly overeacted to hearing some things out of context and i seriesly doubt the yogscast would right **** you on a autograph.
Its just appalling that loyal fans would adbandon the yogscast at first notice when one side of a story is told. Now thanks to notch, you can watch the bluexephos subscriber number go down by simply refreshing the page.

And they are worth the hazzle because thousands / a million people love them and to have them slandered with no proof / half the story is worth the hazzle to know before coming to a conclusion of them being in the wrong.

I wouldn't put it past the Yogscast, I do see how they can think they made Minecraft big. And I don't imagine Notch would fire up like this without reason. With 16 million players, he couldn't afford to have a bad name. Who knows, to early to properly speculate I guess.
16 million registered users, 4 million have the actual product. I too cant image notch being fired up with out good reason, but the sources that he got that information from are unreliable unless he actually witnessed those acts himself but remember he is a big anti social child :tongue.gif:
Personally speaking, I don't think Notch is lying. He has no reason to do so. I don't think he is trolling either, otherwise the reaction of the Yogscast on Twitter would have been different.
But I still want to heard the Yogscast's side of the story, before making any hard judgements.
Also, I think it's nonsense to claim Notch is childish because of him sharing the story.
Why?
1. He's probably not the only one who saw it.
2. He didn't deliberately go on twitter to spread the word. He just mentioned it after being asked about it.
Theres to many variables at this time that the sources Notch had gotten his information from could have been wrong, + Notch is a child for the fashion he presented his story in. It wasn't professional and was just uncalled for. Personally my stance on this is that Notch is going to get burned badly for this ass protecting outburst, those twit herded care pretending mooks who want to make a bomb out of f word that used are the moral hypocrites who want to ignore the unprofessional behavior of Notch and even the very game that children play! There was no apology to the child for the poorly organized events and conduct of the CON event they shammed together, for the poorly unfinished game Minecraft.
And as Notch refers to this child as a 'kid' and his stupid twit post to all idiot fans, perhaps a little history on that word should be explained because before slang redefined semantics of it, it was a derogatory term to use when referring to someone else's child!

I don't mean to disagree with you, MineCon as a whole was rather shoddily conducted and Notch himself was extremely unprofessional in how he has handled this dispute so far.
However, Notch seems like a very awkward and unprofessional man. He stated that he was extremely nervous MineCon prior to the event and that he was terrified about some parts of it as well. This was basically the first time Notch would be doing something like this and I don't think he was so prepared to be treated as a celebrity. He's just a developer; I really don't think this sort of thing would suit a person like Notch at all.
Also, the word "kid" may be treated as derogatory, but I don't think Notch meant it that way either. He probably did not put much thought into the wording of the tweet, which would be understandable with the feeling of being swarmed by hate tweets and the such. In any case, his original intent seems apparent, he did not feel that a child being insulted like that was appropriate or kind. He just wished to express his uncomfortable discontent with how the whole matter with the Yogscast proceeded.
In any case, I will not take sides in this controversy. In my opinion, both sides are at fault, Yogscast for their inappropriate behavior, and Notch for his inappropriate handling of this situation. But Notch is just an ordinary man with the same foibles and flaws as everyone else. Cut him just a little bit of slack. At least he's being a bit more down-to-earth than the Yogscast by communicating his feelings as he experienced them over Twitter (somewhat to his fans). The Yogscast is planning a sort of official statement/press release (sort-of); that just seems like what a PR department for a overbearing, sterile corporation would do to cover their ****.
Notch may have an ego, but who doesn't? Besides, how is that compared to the Yogscast who claimed themselves that they were the reason for Minecraft's popularity. How about CoeStar, or Seananners? How about Notch? If it weren't for him, neither I nor you nor over 16 million people would be enjoying the wonderful game he has brought into this world.
Absolutely true. As I mentioned before, Simon and Lewis showed total disrespect to the child.
On the other hand, Notch could've overreacted a little. We should ask some more witnesses and some more Yogscast minecon attendees. And to keep it fair, the Mojang staff. I for sure know, that Mojang will keep their side and vice versa. If there were witnesses which aren't employed or paid by either the Yogscast or Mojang, they should be asked on their version of the story.

To be quite honest this is totally out of control. There are all these tales and stories and this fuss about this. The minecraft community has split into two sides and everyone's is going berserk. Yeah, Yogscast might have done some bad things, but to be quite honest I really don't know, but Notch, this is just unprofessional. I think Notch and the Yogscast should act like proper adults and apoligise to each other. Then this thing will blow off and we can go back to where we were.

I agree with Notch. Yes, Minecraft grew alot because of Yogscast. But not only because of them. Alot of other YouTubers took note of Minecraft, and not solely because of Yogscast. Also, what Yogscast are doing is free "advertising" so they should not get paid, or anything. If they don't like it, they should have never started playing and making videos.
Notch has his opinion in this, and no one should change it. What he thinks is not wrong, but it might not be right either. This is how he sees it, so Yogscast fanboys should keep their mouths shut. Sweden is a free country, so is Denmark. Notch has his right to say his opinion, and so have I.
I am from Denmark, so I don't care what you say against this.

Read page one the original post of the tweets, thats all thats been said against the yogscast, and no it has not been confirmed as they have not released their side of the story so until then theres no point of trying to understand anything
Why would yogscast want to get paid to go to minecon? they play the game notch created? It should be a privilege to even have the chance to go? There are so many people who make video commentary's on YouTube? Yogscast are more popular yes but that doesn't mean they should get paid to go to the convention of the game THEY play?
