I never really admired the Yogscast, just heard and saw some things that weren't particularly great, not to mention their humor really doesn't agree with my own.
This just seals the deal on my thoughts of them, I suppose. I'm certainly going to be awaiting their side of the story and how it differs from what Notch has said.
While I do agree that yogscast has made Minecraft MODS more popular, I must say that in no way did they help Minecraft (the actual game) get more fans. Most people who know about Yogscast are because they bought the game or are using the cracked client. As for those little kids that said they'd cross Notch's name off, may your home be invaded by a horde of creepers.

It doesn't take much to look on twitter and see all the ******** insults that are directed towards notch. Nothing justifies the things these people are saying, and every one of them should be ashamed.
Now, i'm a fan of both Notch and the Yogscast but we can't say that Notch is a Douche for what he has done and Say the Yogscast is a Bunch of 7-Year old Spoiled girls. We need *BOTH* sides of the story. We have notches, now we wait for theirs. It might be a misunderstanding, maybe it wasn't. We may never know the full story. But swearing at a child is kinda bad, but kids these days swear in almost every sentence. I don't think that Notch would be cruel enough to say that the Yogscast have done something that they haven't and if he has, then it makes him a fool and a Liar. But We do not know, so any who is judging this on JUST Notches side, need to stop. It is not ready to Debate. So Yogscast fanboys, Control yourselves. And Anyone else do the Same. Patience, is required!
This whole thing is just wierd. Simon and Lewis always struck me as decent enough guys. I really hope that either. a) Someone had way too much to drink over the weekend and an apology is forthcoming. or Yogscast and Notch are pranking us.

I never heard of yogcast or w/e till like 4 months after i got minecraft i dont care about them at all,all the videos I watched were from random YouTube users and "No Games For Young Men" besides the few videos ive seen from yogcast they sound exactly like spoiled 7-year old girls >.>
Instead of you and other annoyances, why don't you comment about the situation other then saying "Derp yogscast suck cause they is more popular then me '<.<'" I'm not just saying this about you, but I mean come on people! Even if I DIDN'T like the yogscast you guys are just here to trol more then notch does. And notch's joke was insulting, and he said he was sorry about it IN the interview with the yogscast. And if notch ISN'T joking, I agree it was a rude thing to curse in front of kid, and the most offensive curse too. While I agree it was a bad thing to do on the yogscast's part, I wish they'd tell us, or notch would whom did it.

I'm an incredibots user and the developer (jayther) Bumped into them cause they were blocking his way. They said "Did you not notice who we are!?" He replied "I noticed you were blocking in the way, but I honestly have no idea who you are." To whitch they replied "We're Yogscast! You should know who we are unless you've been living under a rock!" and he answered "Well I guess I live under a rock" then pushed through and walked away.
Seems to me like either we are not getting the whole story, or someone is trolling us. Based on the interview they had, they seemed to get along well, and at this point it seems to me a practical joke being taken too seriously.
I'd hold my judgement until Yogscast releases their side...
so many childish people on here >.< i mean really who cares. mojang and the yogscast are both adults, they sort it out. they don't need us to argue and bitch. "oh theyogscast arn't even funny!!!!!!!!11!!1!" well just because you don't find them funny doesn't mean other don't, eg, i havn't a clue how david letterman is funny, but tonnes of people laugh at his jokes. "without yogscast, minecraft would be nothing!!!1!!!1!" not necessarily sure the contributed but minecraft us a very, "tell your friends" sort of game i mean it has basically no advertising and its doing better than most games out today. but really can't we all just be nice i mean really >.<.
Personally, I agree with Notch completely. Note the fact that the yogcast have the balls to make these comments, yet I do not see them creating a game that's gotten 3,000,000+ buyers before it was even fully released. Honestly, the ignorant statements I hear from them at times just make me want to vomit. It's totally like the yogcast to be this way. I never liked them. They cannot take a joke. Notch is a very calm, successful man and to see him act so low means two things: He needs sleep, and he's extremely pissed at the yogcast.

been a player since Alpha, and always found Yogscast to be strange and odd, but now it seems like they are douches
