This was intended for the yogscast, but since they don't accept private messages and clearly don't have an e-mail contact, their website is offline, I guess I'll just put this here.
You are jeopardizing the future of minecraft. Notch isn't going to want to continue to develop minecraft for the community when your so-called fans are spamming him with insults. I don't know what this is all about but the things your followers are saying to him would make any developer lose faith in the community. It is utter ********, and if your childish fans had any brains they would see the potential damage this is doing. They have dealt a huge blow to minecraft, as I'm quite positive notch wont put as much effort in anymore. You guys did not make minecraft popular, minecraft made minecraft popular. Infact, I'm sure you guys would be nothing without minecraft. I didn't even know about you guys untill I started searching on youtube one day. I had long loved minecraft before that day, just as I'm sure you did. I do enjoy the content you guys make, however this has gone too far and what has happened today has caused more damage then anything you guys have ever done for minecraft. You should be very disappointed, if not with yourself, then with your followers. For the time being, you have lost my respect, and my subscriptions. I do hope you do your best to remedy this.
I find it weird that people are complaining about the yogscast asking for money etc. just coz thats what notch tweeted, no one has heard the yogscast side yet, a lot of people have heard one side and have immediately decided that it is the accurate one. The first view is not always the accurate one, so just wait until both sides come out untill you make up your mind.
how about over a million subscribers? and id say that makes them pretty famous, and you just stereotyped all gays to fit a certain person, and have you even heard there side of the story? Or just read one or two peoples say of things? Lets way and see how it all plays out, then you can start hating....

Sorry, but you can't use something as an insult and then turn around and say "No offense to people in category X". It just isn't acceptable. Call them immature. Call them stupid. Call them whatever you want. But to sit there and imply that there is something wrong with one of them because they're "most likely gay" and then turn around and say "No offense to those out there who are gay" is absurd at the least. yeah your right but to correct you both of them have Girlfriends and i feel sad this has turned into a crap fest. i hope they fix this too also HOW IS IT A 24 HOUR FLIGHT? its not the trip from london to vegas is about 10-20 hours depending on your captain.
its not fair that the Yogscast can claim that they made Minecraft big or to be paid to go to Minecon, there are people like myself sitting at home because we can't afford to go to Minecon, They Yogscast, while they are big contributors to Minecraft, are not the reason why everyone plays. I started playing because it was fun and had infinite possibilities, I hadn't even seen of heard of the Yogscast. However, I don't know the full story, so it may have been a case of overreaction, but Notch doesn't seem like the person to lie about something like this, I think the best course of action is to get the Yogscast perspective and draw conclusions from that.

they made the game sell 1 mil not yogscast. i knew about minecraft way before yogscast and they deserve very little prase for minecraft making it big. and you know what. i don't think its the yogscasts fault its there fans who say they made minecraft, if your told something enough you beleive it
People are still saying they shouldnt have said that they made minecraft big, noone has heard their side, it could easily have been a sarcastic joke. If you watch the interview they did with notch you can see that notch didnt really get all their sarcastic jokes, so this is what most likely happened.

You missed my point. I wasn't saying any one of them was gay, I was pointing out that someone was using gay as an insult and then trying to make it good by claiming "No offense to those who are gay."

There are more important issues to **** and moan about that doesn't involve a dispute between an indie game developer and two Let's Players who make use of their YouTube partnership for a living. It is disgusting that this event even made to the front page of the forums. That kind of stuff belongs on the cover of a tabloid magazine, and nothing more.

The Yogscast was great before they started to become really popular and got corrupted by money...i knew the Yogscast before they did Minecaft videos(beta WoW:Cata vidoes).Simon and Hannah had wishlists at Amazon for their birthday and i think thats abusing their popularity to get what they want.I wouldn't be surprise if they act spoiled and have a huge ego's by now.
On another note i think simon has a song to this oh and im not trying to be offensive with this song to yognaughts

I'm not gonna take a side here, so I'll say this: IF Notch's side of the story is accurate, then Yogscast are a bunch of douches. IF they have a reasonable explanation, then that's fine and Notch is overreacting.
I'm not sure which is true, so I think I'll wait this one out.
