I doubt Yogscast would do this unless they were insanely drunk/high (quite possible in Vegas) but otherwise, from other videos, I would never expect this from them. From the interview, Notch, Simon, and Lewis seemed to be getting along well and I think Notch befriended them. I think this is just some friendly trolling.

Guys, you have to watch the interview that the Yogscast had with Notch in the 2nd part, around 6:50, they mention about trolling if they wake up in Notch's body. Then mention going on a vacation right afterwards. If you check Notch's twitter, he recently tweeted "And as of a few hours ago, I'm officially on vacation" I smell trolling.

Just trying to contribute. Maybe help ease down this drama?

Well if Yogscast is going to respond in a few days this may just be joke from both partys. I dont know why and what cuased this but Im going to check out the interview with notch from yogscast now...

Wow. I think it is very low of the Yogscast to "demand" to be paid for coming. They weren't begged to come. Notch would care less if they came or not. Just total cheap a**holes if you ask me. I used to think they were cool but this is total bullsh*t.

Not so sure if their my favorite minecrafters now....

i can see how the yogs would act like that. but most of all i think people treat notch like a peice of **** now.

all my friends say that he just copy pastes mods and does nothing... well there wrong. notch made a copany, he has stuff he needs to do other then sit down and make updates, he has had to deal with getting sued by a huge multi million dallar copany who can afford the worlds best lawyers, deal with 2 new games, organize a covention, run a company and most off al lhe needs to keep 10+ people from getting screwed if there company crashes.

so pleas stop getting pissed off because he used pistons and potion craft. i've hear people say all the time that "this mod should be part of the game" well he did make it part of the game. he made a great game and if he made no more updates the game would still be great, i know that COD MW3 aint gonna get a content packed update for free (in 1 year 3 map packs full of crap) so pleas stop begging the man to come out with an update becuase he tries his hardest, and stop getting mad a notch when jebb also makes the game.

and notch sould have been less angry about it if he acted a bit more calm this would have been a bit less shocking. i can see how they would have been "jack assy" but think about this some guy said notch was a @#$% and some guy who was being a jerk who owes you for being in the place for free just noods his head and goes yep he is all those things. notch worked his butt of and some guy you never met agrees to call you a [email protected]#$ after some guy says the game that you made would be nothing without that guy. it's not about simon and lewis being annoying and stupid it's about people giving them the credit. how would gorge washington feel if Nathanael Greene got credit for winning the war.

It's opinion to say their videos are terrible, as well as to say they are good, but I fail to see how you miss the fact that they HAVE contributed quite a lot to Minecraft. This isn't to say they are the only reason Minecraft is popular, but you can't deny the fact they are the reason many even discovered Minecraft.

As for the rest of your post, I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at. The people bashing are simply the ones who don't care what the Yogscast's side of the story is, and would rather
base their actions on what Notch has reported so far.

yknow i wonder if the admins are watching this and deciding when to lock it its turned into a complete troll fest with some people doing the right thing and some blowing it out of perportion its just a word. words dont mean nothing feelings do. well some words do mean stuff but... you get the idea i hope.

But I side with Notch. I dont think they made Minecraft popular. It was Paul, David, Seananners, Coestar, Neoka, and Minecraft Chick. All helped to make Minecraft look fun. So did Yogscast. Then they decided to script which, to me, screwed up their series. Well, Shadow of Israphel. All of them made Minecraft popular. Not just the Yogscast. Oh, and don't forget Etho!
