i dont know maybe it was just a joke. simon and lewis always act like idiots anyway its why people watch them. both partys stop sooking and GET OVER IT!
If Notch was really upset, then why did he have a light hearted interview with them?
Also, Notch said this after saying all those things on twitter:
"All this said, I'm very tired at the moment and this will probably pass. I do like the work they do, very much."
You still think that notch is truly mad?
I think he just doesnt want any more threats... lol
Do half of you even realize what you're doing? You're drawing conclusions about a group of people based on the word of a single man. Was he there? Was this hearsay on his part? Ever play a game of telephone? My money's on the fact that whatever has Notch's panties in a twist was something he heard from someone else.
Right now I'm disappointed in Notch. Even IF Yogscast did something very nasty, he's handling this poorly. It is the better person who does not sink to the level of those attacking him. Instead, he goes off on them on twitter. I'd almost say it is dangerously close to libel. It may already be too late for it *NOT* to be libel. All you have to do is look at how many of you are already pointing the finger at Yogscast as if they were the ones solely in the wrong as proof.
To that I say: shame on you. We only have one man's story. And we don't even know if he was an eyewitness or if he merely heard it from someone else who supposedly saw it or heard it from someone else who supposedly saw it or heard it from....
It's sad, too, because this isn't the first I've seen of Notch being negative to fans. (And let's face it, Yogscast are Minecraft fans, too). Remember that email he posted on twitter and then ridiculed? That's no way for a company to act, and yet he did it anyway. What also disappointed me was when I saw Yogscast (some time after Notch's twitter) do a video where they mocked the email as well. I suspect that this current incident is going to degrade quickly on both sides.
My grandfather used to always tell me: When you have a problem with someone, they have a problem with you.
I still hold that what I find the most boggling is that this *seems* to be over nothing more than an errant f-bomb. I find Simon and Lewis to be a little immature; they're certainly not a pair of fellows I would want to speak with personally -- but based purely on personas it seems out of character for them to cuss out a kid / write eff you on a kid's signature. I can see Yogscast complaining about not being paid; I think it's kind of bad form to invite someone to present at your convention and then not at least pay for their room and board if not their fare. (I'm going to guess Yogscast had to pay for their room and board; heck, the people doing the minecraft movie had to pay their way). I've helped put on many a convention, and we *always* paid for the room and board of our invited panelists. It's just polite. Though I do have to say that if they complained about it a lot, that was bad form, too. They had to have known before they went that they would have to pay their own way. And if that was unacceptable to them, they should have stayed home.
But honestly people, we only have one side of the story. Please don't jump to conclusions about things without the other side yet. Wait until Yogscast posts their side and then if you feel they're full of it, you can say so.
"You're a dumbass. There are no facts. Wait for the Lewis to reply."
Another person dismissing the facts that have been presented. Why should we wait? I'm willing to bet that when Yogscast replies, it's going to be some crap excuse saying "Oh it was late and we were stressed out, can't we have a break?" Or something like that.
Again you're a dumbass. We haven't seen facts. We saw only claims. Facts have proof. And it looks like you don't know **** about Yogcast, do you?
@Slider2k You may be right but that interview made them sound pompous in my eyes. Regardless how good a game dose it's for many reasons I didn't buy battlefield 3 because of haatfilms playing the beta. But if you did hey good for you.Maybe it's just the title of that interview that just turns me off about them.
WTF?? i don't believe this. i think someone hacked into notch's twitter or something. they seemed to like each other but Minecraft isn't all popular because of Yogscast? wtf? Minecraft was already hella lot popular before 2 british nerds came up. You might have to admit yogscast got a couple people in the game (me ) but really? everyone is playing mc because of yogscast? come on notch
What the hell is a yogscast? That sounds like a phrase for vomit.
Just watched five video's from them, good thing my phone has youtube, I got bored after the first 0.3 seconds, so I pulled up skyrim. How, oh how, do they 'think' they contributed to the popularity of minecraft?
Wouldn't it be reverse? Terrible video's about minecraft wouldn't exist if Mojang didn't make the game. Fun fact.
Yogscast; your 'popularity' wouldn't exist without minecraft. You guys just slaughtered your sheep. /fail
something I don't get is that if i say K * i11 when i'm saying that you can in the game from a creeper or any mob then I get a warning, but i've seen things that say assholes.. on them & I don't see anyone doing anything about that, Notch isn't looking at mc forums, although i think thats his wifes job & i respect that but mc forums has been treating me like trash & Notch is noticing yogscast but noone is looking at mc forums which is completely uncalled for. this is effed up & when i said you cant take things out of context they send me a "Thats Nice Bro" Now that is an Ego. -Krystal
The fact of the matter is Minecon was about minecraft and its support. If anyone had anything negative to say they should have left. I don't know the whole story so I am unable to make a official comment on the situation. Notch will handle it as he sees fit and it is up to us to support him.
Tobias just tweeted that he's hanging out with Tinman, with no apparent hostilities. Take this for what you will, but I think there's a misunderstanding here that we're not seeing.

See my post on page 27.
They're trolling. They probably had this all planned out ahead of time.
By the way, the masturbation joke is completely unrelated, so stop using it as a talking point.
Yogscast hasn't even released their side of the story, why would follow so blindly based on a few tweets from Notch?
