Actually, has anybody thought that Notch and the yogscast might be trolling us? o.O
I'd be surprised, frankly, due to the severity of it, quite frankly. But Notch's twitter account seems a bit serious, so the idea he may have been hacked is possible.
Somehow this doesn't surprise me at all. I don't know why, but they just always seemed doushey.

Yogcast are funny with or without Minecraft (of which I honestly got bored some time ago already, don't know about you all). And I prefer to watch their non-minecraft videos. They didn't make each other, but rather nicely complemented - Minecraft became a great playground for Yogcast, while doing that, Yogcast did great FREE advertisement for Minecraft. Surely they didn't make so much money from Minecraft as Notch himself. Maybe they wanted some kind of acknowledgement from him, probably just in a form of free trip and stay at Minecon.

I doubt it, Notch is ruining their reputation with all this, with people already taking Notch's side and all. I believe either a parent got upset about whatever supposedly happened, and Notch felt he had to address it, or it was just a huge misunderstanding.

I didn't even know what Yogscast was until this. I find it rather amusing though. I checked out a few videos, and I'm not really sure why people like them. Fun for kids, I suppose.
BTW anyone wondering why i'm siding with notch and not the yogs should read this. In this interview they claim they are mostly the reason for mincrafts success.

Have they not been? You can't possibly deny they've brought in a large chunk of fans the game. Not saying they've been the soul bringer of all the profits, but they've done a lot getting the game out there.

Just because two people play a game and become popular does NOT mean they are entitled to anything. If this were true, every popular Lets Player on YouTube would be staking claims.
