I hate all these people dissing the Yogscast. We've all had arguments and we've all done things we regret during them. Also you can't make assumptions off of one side of the story. I'm going to wait to here what the Yogscast has to say before I assume there being a**holes. I hope they work things out and I hope this argument is settled soon.

I agree with the Yogscast for wanting to wait. A 24 hour flight is not very fun.
But if it does come out that this be true I expect a apology from them.
I do understand that its part of their society to curse like a salior but this is the US.
Im not saying that all of us here in the US think its bad but the ones that think its wrong
do have things against it.
Also its Notch's event, not the Yogscast so they should have thought about it and said "Maybe dropping the F-Bomb isnt the right thing to do."
I dont know what the policies were but Notch should have outlined the vulgar language a little bit better, seeing he knows how the Yogscast is.

O_O I don't know what this is all about. I guess they must be trolling us all. I don't think people should pick sides, this is probably just a really stupid arguement. Or maybe a misunderstanding, like the article says.
You see, Mojang and the Yogscast should be best friends. This could have easily been someone from their team, and not themselves. I really hope nothing bad happens.

The reality: Notch didn't set clear guidelines to Minecon, Yogscast (or the crew) were full of themselves, and both parties were at fault. Not to mention they had different senses of humor and 1st languages.
It's funny how most people are only talking about them dropping the f-bomb. They do that ALL THE TIME in their videos! The other stuff is what you should be debating about. It's just rude and diva-lake.
Absolutely, positively inexcusable behavior on the parts of the Yogscast team. I have no respect for them anymore - refusing someone's mod and acting rude about it was bad enough, as was pasting their own face on the cover of the Yogbox when you go to log in ("Yogscast and Mojang present...") - now they've resorted to insulting the creator of the game in the first place. That's not something you can just get away with.
The thing is, a lot of posts have been going on about Notch either "lying" or not.
Realize that there isn't just a lie and a truth in life. There are exaggerations, misunderstandings, understatements, etc.
It's obvious Notch isn't creating a lie. Most likely he either:
a)Misunderstood the Yogscast
or
b)Received this information from a secondary source who probably exaggerated it.
To be honest, at this point, sides shouldn't be taken.
First of all, an entire side of the story hasn't been given out.
Second, the details, period, of the dispute hasn't come out yet.
I would not be surprised if this was a publicity stunt, but I would be disappointed by the Yogscast if it was. I've followed them and their videos for around a month, and I like to think after watching most of their series that I know a bit about them. Saying '**** you' to a child isn't terribly good, but Notch doesn't know what USA schools are like. And especially in Vegas; that little kid was probably called worse things in preschool.
And knowing the Yogscast's way of speaking, they would have probably made it sound better then it actually was. The little kid should be happy that he DID get f-bomb'd by them anyways. I would rather be f-bomb'd by the Yogscast then never meet them in real life.
I doubt they truly meant to be a complete **** to the child, but even if they did... Notch needs to stop being so prissy. I've watched him as well and read his blogposts..to be honest, he seems like a complete **** himself. If he can post a masturbation joke on a world-wide site like tumblr, good hearted or not, he shouldn't be calling the Yogscast out on something that was probably a failed joke theirselves.
And it may not have even been Simon or Lewis. It wasn't Hannah, either, because she didn't go to Minecon. It may have been another member of the Yogscast, as Notch did not specify who it was.
I don't think Notch is lying, but I think he misunderstands what happened. But we should all just wait until Lewis posts the Vlog and clarifies what actually happened. Notch was horridly vague if you think of it.
