I would just like to point out that there are a lot of things about cultural differences (British humour) and a lot of tone things that could change some of these drastically. But if Yogscast indeed say they made Minecraft big, that'd be a lie, because Minecraft got big before the Yogscast did. If anyone could make that claim, it'd be Seananners, who was big before Minecraft was and showed Minecraft to his subscribers. Also, a reddit post (http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/mkew4/my_experience_with_the_yogscast_team_at_minecon/) from a MineCon staff member also talked against the Yogscast's behavior.
if you look the tweet it says"they SAID THEY'D cross it out and put F**k you" that means they didn't put F**k you there, if you say it in Lewis's voice and joy's attitude it sounds allot like a joke.
All of Mojang and Yogscast are GROWN MEN there really is no need to be so childish even if a masturbation joke was pulled or any of that, Minecraft is NOT big because of Yogscast, it is big for the reason that it is free and fun to do anything you wish, maybe the community would be better off without Yogscast. IF they did swear in front of a kid, I don't think that was a good move, however unlike alot of people, I'm waiting to hear the other side of the story before making judgement. I'm a big fan of the Yogscast, and Notch is a great person for creating Minecraft - but I for one am not going to go blindly leap to either's defense and kiss their ass or turn against.
I actually DID like Yogscast during my early newbie days (They were the first thing to pop up when I typed "Minecraft" on Youtube), but once I noticed just how many Honeydews were corrupting the servers I soon stopped watching their videos after watching only about 4 of them. I do not dislike them, I just find them too... mainstream :/
From what I've seen so far, I'm sort of siding with Notch. The things he says they did are just awful. But before you Yogscast fanboys start telling me I suck and I'm jumping to conclusions, I'd like to say that I'm not calling Yogscast a bunch of stuck-up divas yet. Once I see the Yogscast's side I'll make my decision, but judging from Notch's tweets, they're a bunch of divas. I am a fan of the Yogscast, but hearing about this makes me think much, much less of them. Again, not a final decision, and not a foregone conclusion. I am not about to make a decision hastily without both side's stories. Who I am currently siding with is tentative and may vary once I see the Yogscast's side of things.

I'm dumbfounded. I highly doubt that all of these claims really are true. Yogscast is crude, but they aren't downright assholes. From the interview with Notch, they seemed to have gotten along with each other quite well.
And by the way, Yogscast is one of the big factors in Minecraft getting famous. They are the biggest source of Minecraft entertainment in all of the internet, which pretty much means that they are, for a fact, the biggest source of Minecraft's income.
