I'll buy it when it gets more current to the PC version. I'll leave my PC version for a modded experience and play the vanilla experience on xbox live when they get hunger, endermen, and villages enabled into the game. Until then it doesn't really interest me.
Boo, Me and my friends think the 360 version is terrible in our opinions.
Now, don't be sending hate mail and reporting me, it's just our opinions and we have proof to back it up. Me and GoldenGuy55 don't like the 360 version for a few reasons, the first of which is the controls, they don't seem that great, (I've seen videos of MCX360 and they just don't seem right, I have played on an Xbox 360 before, from what perspective I've experienced on the console, the 360 controller has a few flaws for such a simple game). The second reason is that it's not up to date, sure they can't have the 360 version and the PC version updated at the same time, but in my opinion, 1.6.6's additions and fixes are obsolete and outdated and it's not geared to have less additions than what the PC version currently has.
Dude the game just came out, and the controls are different because the games for a different console, When I got Forza 4 the controls were changed. So I got used to them, SO STOP WHINING LIKE A BABY!
More like someone should be writing a article about how Microsoft is now swimming in cash thanks to Mojang.
The fact that this game still costs 20 dollars is a mystery.
It's good to see the xbox minecraft is getting some attention BUT my only question is, how will they in corporate sprinting? Will it just be like the PC version where you double tap and hold the up key or will it be with a button to activate it?
I bought my copy of Minecraft after it hit 2 million sells

plus you don't have to have proof for an opinion...that's why it's an opinion and not a fact.
*edit* I was referring to the post you were quoting

If I had to guess...they'll probably change the control for switching to 3rd person view to the D-pad and make clicking the left analog stick be the way to sprint since it's the way most FPS games work.
Herobrine does not exist you 빌어먹을.
Korean because I don't know if I can swear at this person. The "I" is not a capital, fix your grammar!
Anyways, nice job Mojang.
Why would any pc users be upset when almost every worthwhile idea has already been made into a mod, and any new ideas could be made into a mod? And all the mods for the pc version are free for anybody to use; whereas any 'platform-exclusive' dlc for MCX360 probably wouldn't be free. If anything it'll be the 360 players who end up being upset.
Mods are where a lot of what is Minecraft (official game) has gotten ideas from, and that's what's beautiful about this game. It's easy to forget that many of us on PC have started in alpha or beta, and that a lot of what we accept or expect from this game was not completed as we played it. Even now that the game is in full release, it continues to be updated.
Mods are great and all, and I'd much prefer the (assumed) stability of official support of particular functions. In any case, I'd rather wait for official mod support; altering key game files for mods does little besides ensure future instabilities. Once mods are useable as plugins without rewriting official files, I'm on board.
Sadly, X360 users will probably not enjoy the freedom that PC users will get. However, I have played split screen X360 multiplayer, and it's a blast.
So according to the patch notes, we have to wait 3 months, to get autosave and bug fixes?
We get 1.7 but we dont even get pistons or shears?
That really sucks.
If it takes this long to do some minor bug fixes, i'm not holding my breath for 1.8.
That's IF you even give us anything in 1.8.
Oh yeah, im having this problem so.. feel free to help me .
i would tell u blankly what the problem is, but it's preffered and most likely more practical if i walkthrough all that happened;
so i was playing the newest snapshot, 12w22a, trying to find a jungle temple. After much exploring, the game crashed, closed, and pooped out a hs_err_pid document, which happens sometimes. i thought nothing of it. i tried to reload the world to find...there isn't one. all there is is void. i thought maybe it was still loading with the new smp + ssp thing but after flying to the height ground would be (it crash while i was flying in the sky) it didn't load, i started flying everywhere to the viod to the height limit. after a minute of flying around an empty world i tried to type "/gamemode 0" to switch, as maybe if i died it would respawn me in the happily generated area in which i started from. it didn't respond like it would when loading terrian and such. a few months before i noticed a red message below the render distance option (i keep mine on far) saying: your using a 32 bit version of java, u should use a 64 bit version for using far. so i decided just to uninstall java, and reinstall 64 bit. long story short, i couldn't find 64 bit so i reinstalled the version i was using. i openned minecraft, and clicked login. it loaded for a while then a error message came up reading: java™ Platform SE binary [minecraft] has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem. After a while the "solution" was close the program. ive tried reinstalling java several times, deleting the entire bin folder (but soon discovered that since it was only the launcher, it did nothing), playing minecraft in browser (same error), and restarting my windows 7 pc. (BTW i cant play offline because u have to fail logging in to minecraft.net for the option to present itself, so that wont fix a thing. other things that require java work fine, i tried play Notch's "Prelude of the Chambered", which i knew needed java, to test it. worked downright spiffy. i've tried forcing update, but since it wont even get past the login it doesn't do anything.)
please comment ANYTHING u think would help!
java is updated to newest
running on Windows 7 32 bit PC
3 GB of RAM
I'm just wondering, do you have the 32 bit or 64 bit Java? Cus if you have the 64 bit it's not going to work on your computer...
I SWEAR TO GOD THEY BETTER NOT PATCH THE DUPPLICATION.... IM WORKING ON A REALLY BIG PROJECT THAT CONTAINS OVER 9,473,704,356 BLOCKS! AND DUPLICATING IS THE EASIEST WAY
