I don't like it at all. The new account system is a complete mess, all of the threads are now lost in the jungle, there are no hot threads and my font and adjustments on my texture pack thread are ****ed up.
I also lost my profile picture, which i really liked.
And you can't edit your threads. Seriously, i had no problem with the old system. Why would you change it?
1. The avatars have been switched. I have to reupload my Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger back...
2. YOU SCREWED UP A LOT OF THREADS. All the code have been replaced by Rich Text verbatim! No one wants to look back on ALL their posts to fix them up!
Hey, i love all these updates, but now i have a question. If you go through with the update, can we(the people) still access our servers that remain 1.1 for the time being?Because I try going on my 1.1 server, and it says something like took too long to connect or something of that sort. Please fix this problem! Thanks.
as a daily user I found it to be beutiful and love the nice sleek flow of it all... but a tad laggy but its fine....might justxbe me old router.as a daily user I found it to be beutiful and love the nice sleek flow of it all... but a tad laggy but its fine....might justxbe me old router.
Its different... will take some time to get used to it.
My only complaint is the profiles; in my opinion it was better when all the information came up on screen at the same time. The current layout seems... wasteful?
The community stats and contact information boxes that display when you first view a profile are massive. Obscenely massive. Personally I preferred them tucked on the left, under other information. There if you're looking for it, but not intrusively so.
Its probably just my own aversion to change, but I think the new profile layouts in particular are a swing and a miss.
Could you guys make the font BOLD? its very very hard for me to read as it is now. its a nice update for the site but I do not like the font. Please consider something easier to read.
This update looks nice but it screwed up a few things.
1. No pic and avatar anymore, just an avatar that is used for everything.
2. Laggy, the old forum design was less pretty but didn't slow down when I post.
3. No more lava bucket icon! It's minor but it was more visible than the "hot topic" icon we have now.
4. You fixed some bugs but made tons of new ones!
Overall this update was kinda crappy. You made it look sleek and modern, but ruined some stuff we were used to.
Unless something changes this is gonna be terribly hard to get used to.
I hate it. It was a pointless change that pretty much wrecked everything.
Avatars don't display, you can't edit posts, the way threads are formatted is ****ed, the layout is ugly, no hot topics, i lost my avatar and plenty of other annoying things.
This might have messed up alot of things, but at least it isn't as bad as that update which prevented us from posing at all if someone replied to the the thread while we were wrinting a reply. That was just horendous.
The new layout was a bit of a pointless change. I don't really understand why website designers feel the need to change something that already works.
Also, I'm not a fan of the fact that people who had no custom avatar had their Minecraft-related default avatar replaced with something more generic. The update also broke my avatar. It's supposed to be an animated GIF.
Yeah, I'm getting hundreds of errors in my web developer console also, and a lot of 404s for images. It looks like this mix of multiple systems is not completely thought out.
Everything is so much slower than before. This may be what keeps me off the forums for good.
How do I get to the last page of a thread? Where did that button go?
Why do I care about latest news items when I am in the forum?, I had to see them on the way there, wasting screen space with that junk.
NEVER make UI changes that remove functionality without exceptional reason.

This.
The BBCode is messed up on every thread posted before the update.
And I lost my Avatar. Please, for the love of god, revert it!
