The new forum software has rolled out, and we are all very excited about the new changes! As IPB moves their support to 3.2, so too do we upgrade the forum with some of the latest features, bug-fixes and more that will make the forums even better than before. We will continue to make minor adjustments to the site in the coming days, so expect such changes to pop up from time to time.

Social Networking - You can like your favorite articles on Facebook, twitter, and Google +
Rate Articles - Vote for your favorites articles to let our authors know how great it is
Watch Articles - You can now track articles and watch them for updates.
Active Topic Block - This replaced the recent post block which gives a more accurate recent post history.
Forum Filters - Now filter by your favorite forums on the active topic block.
Tons of Bug Fixes - We fixed a ton issues that many site leads and users were facing.
Stability improvements - We wanted writ to run a bit easier on a site, so we fixed up a ton of things to do just that.

Improved Account Merger - We improved our system just a bit
Newsletter Signup - You can now sign up for the Curse Newsletter
Stability Improvements - Tidy up the code means the site will run it better
Video System - 1.2.3
Youtube Subscription - You can now subscribe to the Curse YT channel
Stability Improvements - The video system was a little bloated, so we made it run a little bit better on the site.
You also removed the Recent Threads box that once was on the front page. Sachverell, can you please provide us with a reasonable explanation for this? The View New Content page doesn't really do the same thing.
I like it, it'll take some getting used to though. It's a little bit laggy though.Also, I have a bug!

Yes, but WHY THE NEED FOR ALL THE INTERFACE CHANGES? I like the new post writing doobly, but other than that, it's hard to get used to. I liked it when I knew the forums like the google homepage.

Yes. This too. A million times. This is all I really do on this site, other than browse the science and technology for anything interesting.
Whoops double post. I'm still getting used to this. I like the useless "Edit and report buttons are faded and near impossible to see unless you are looking for them." Very nifty feature.

The Active Topic block is NOT THE SAME! The previous Recent Topics block showed new topics that were just posted! That's what I liked about it! I don't want to see every little post that has been made in a 16k-post thread! I want to see new topics, like the old block. It was easier to see who needed help, which was why I lurked on it the most.

Yes, but all I can get is a mix of new posts and posts with hundreds of replies already. Would it be possible to add a option for the View New Content window that would show the most recently posted threads without any other filters in the future?
