1.Save the skin image you want anywhere as chicken(.png)
2.Get to your minecraft.jar (Windows users go Start>Run...>%appdata%>.minecraft>bin. Others I don't know)
3.Open minecraft.jar with winrar or similar software
4.Open the folder "mob" in there
5.Copy 'chicken.png' and make a backup of it somewhere so you can easily copy-paste it back to reset to the default.
6.Copy and paste the TF2 chicken skin into "mob" folder
7.(Say OK if it asks to replace or whatever)
8.Start up minecraft and go chicken hunting.
I did a Zombie Pigman-Scout. The hat and headset are the second set of head textures adding a little depth to it. I may leave it like this as I think it's funny when you hit them and they start jumping around at ya.
I'm reposting this due to the fact it got spammed off the bloody screen by this whole "You stole my skin" argument. I also updated some of the skins (I won't take new screenshots, as it isn't major) with more detail.. Little bit of shading or brightening, and some slight recolors that (at least I think so) look better.
Support is always appreciated. Skinning is something I enjoy doing very much. Even if it's digital, it's art. Simple and fun!
The original post is on page 15.
Also, if someone could answer my question, would I be disqualified for including monoculus in this entry? Should I remove it? Thanks.
