Gods are not to be respected, Gods are not to be loved, Gods are to be feared, they are to be feared because they are not mortal. Gods know no love, no feeling of belonging, they have no humanity. Gods are completely alien to all things human, the best way to describe it is Sociopath. Gods are Sociopaths with all the power you can imagine, so yes they are to be feared.

I did not steal any of these skins and all of my submissions are original works by me. To clarify though, yes the skins are going to look similar since we're all basing these after specific TF2 models. Yet more so we're designing these in 16bit which only allows so much detail and sets limitations on what we can and cannot fit on the skins. Simply put to make something that resembles what I and others are trying to design our creations are bound to have certain similarities with the level of detail we're limited to putting into our work. I'm sorry but at some point with 16bit you can only make a sniper, demoman, etc. so many ways before it starts to not resemble what it's being based after and I'm not trying to lose this contest.
YESTHAT ENDERMAN IS A SPY!HOLY **** THAT CHICKEN LITERALLY IS A SPY! CHICKEN SAPPIN MAH COBBLESTONE GENARATOR!yea u will guess why itll sap your creations and backstab you by cloaking and sneaking behind u if u look at him >
To those who are really paranoid, I recommend those who are submitting to refrain from posting their entries, or at least not including the download link, until the last day of submission.

ACTUAL theft? In this topic? It can't be!
I will use the "skeleton sniper" as an example
Enlarged for viewing convenience
On the left, note the similarities, especially the chest area and face. Yes size is limited, but the exact same shape and placement pixel by pixel is really questionable.
If that wasn't enough, what's even more intriguing is the right side, which shows the exact same colors used on all the skins. By exact, I don't mean that all of them used similar grey colors for the pants, I mean that all of them used the color #5f574b grey, for the pants.
now what are the odds of that...
choosing the exact same colors out of unlimited number of possibilities when making skins from scratch

Everybody stole my idea of an Engy which is unfair. At least they didn't copy the wrench.

I tend to use colors as a reference when I skin. I suck at choosing colors in RGB format in GIMP, my eyesight is pretty bad and I have a hard time with colors sometimes. I can see where you're coming from, but I'm not copying anyone's skins.. I'm using the colors as a reference for mine, because I couldn't get the sniper right for the life of me, in terms of colors. The color was an inspiration for mine, I didn't steal his idea... I gave it detail, I handpainted it, and just because I used some of the colors he did does not mean I stole it.
tl;dr I used the similar colors because I'm not good at choosing colors due to poor eyesight. I used similar pixel placement because it 1. fit, and 2. looked wrong otherwise. You need to understand, textures wrap a certain way around the model. There's a certain point at which trying to make your skin look different just looks bad.
As i read all 18 pages of the thread i realised that about 50% of participants don't want to or don't know how to read. Stop introducing horseless headless horseman or monoculus or player skins as your entries because they won't be accepted as entries. Only mobs turned into TF2 Classes!!!
P.S. DlaHLlama's Dragonscout is epic. He should be one of the winners.

Yes, somebody made those skins just for fun. I've forgotten to mention this but if you search for some other posts then you'll agree with me.
Yeah.. lol. I've seen them. I just started on it and was like "OMFG this looks AWESOME" ... So I went ahead and threw it in there for the lulz.
