I cannot tell if that is a compliment or sarcastic criticism, I'm going with criticism.
The first part was sarcasm. The CAPITAL part was pure rage, because this bug destroys about every hard minecraft map (like Super Hostile). But it seems like Mojang does not care about mapmakers (for example, why did they remove all the spawneggs? Giants are an amazing scare-factor, unless you know that they can't really hit you, and the player mob was even scarier, as everyone thought, it was herobrine)

They didnt remove spawn eggs???? What u talkin about? And just download a stinkin' mod to get the giants and humans! And they ARE going to fix the bugs. Mojang could just not have any snapshot you know, just leave people in the dark about it so they dont keep getting idiots telling them their game sucks. They add stuff, get ppl to test it for them, the ppl tell them the bugs, mojang fixes the bugs. Thats what a snapshot is. It isnt the actuall update its just a test for the real update.>.>
I'd just like to say I'm really hating these few new screenshots. Whenever I go to one of my single player maps it connects me to it like it's a multiplayer server. If I wanted to play multiplayer I would click it! If single player is now multiplayer why is it still called "single player"? Oh, and the pause functions exactly like it would on a server where the game keeps running while your paused. After a day or so of trying to play the new screenshot I went back several weeks before this new single player/multiplayer mixup happened so I could play MC in peace without all this... stuff.

Single player is not "multiplayer". All that is happening is that there is now going to be a common set of software and a single piece of "client" software. Single player is still going to be completely under your control.
This "change" is really going to make Minecraft a much better game and have fewer bugs. Bitching about it is also not going to get this change reversed, so either live with it or quit updating Minecraft. That is your choice.
BTW, it isn't a "screenshot", it is a "snapshot".... in other words a quick view of what the developers have going on their development computers in whatever state that it happens to be in. It might be "playable", or not and it may have bugs or it may not or certainly different bugs if some have been fixed and others haven't been. There certainly should be no expectation of having this work any better than the current version and may likely have many more bugs.
If you can't get it working, you may not have the technical expertise to get it going. If that is the case, wait for the formal 1.3 update when I'm sure Jeb and his team will get it working correctly and solve some of the installation issues you are facing.
You should be able to CHOOSE what biome you get when picking the huge biomes, so you dont have to fly around for ages and ages looking for, say, a giant desert to build a sandstone city.

Human history can be summed up in a few words. Just ask Demosthenes.

Just use a seed that would normally spawn you in a desert. I noticed that, say, if you use the seed glacier on a normal world, then use it on the large biomes world, it will basicly be the same world but 10x bigger...
I have found the most useless (bug?) If you go into the statistics, and highlight the objects, all but the slabs, ink sack and sapling's name shows up!
Stupid, but it's still in the game, so you'll still need to fix it!
single player is working just fine for me offline.
I copied my .minecraft folder then deleted it, downloaded minecraft fresh, replaced the minecraft.jar, and put the server folder in the .minecraft folder like the main post says.
I was wanting bigger biomes, and they sure are HUGE biomes!!!!
There has been a bit of noise about launcher problems in 12w18a and 12w19a. Here are a couple of solutions to the 'Done Loading' hang (Hung Loading?) and the 'end of stream' / 'connection refused: connect' behaviours.

Wait, they removed spawn eggs?! How could they?
Why are they not here yet?

Version 2.1 now updated for MC 1.6.2

These aren't bugs, just user error and performance problems.
