MinecraftUniverse brings us a new Let's Play series, with a particular focus on a brutally unforgiving adventure map. It is one of the very few adventure maps I've seen that didn't come with explicit rules about block-breaking, path finding or any other major stipulations - the trade-off is how incredibly difficult it is. This map will definitely test your skills as a Minecrafter; dare you try it? Check out their play through above!
That is more of a survival map, not an adventure map. adventure maps have the strict rules, survival you have no rules, goals to do whatever you can to survive,.
You should include a link to the survival lava islands thread, http://www.minecraft...l-lava-islands/ There is is for anyone interested. I wanted to download it without watching the let's play... had to jump through a few sites to find it.
