Anyone notice the trailer uses the old textures (chest, leaves, etc.)? I wonder if they are purposefuly making the game look classic or not. All in all looks pretty good, keep up th egood work Mojang! Would be proud!

I. WANT. THIS. NOW.
This is amazing!!! PC, Mac, mobile, and now Xbox. Where will Minecraft strike next?
...But seriously, this makes me want to buy an Xbox.
Maybe I can take advantage of the Rogers thing right now where I can get a free Xbox after activating a couple of phones... Well, I need a phone anyways. To play Minecraft Pocket Edition on.

This is great and all, it's just pissing me off, my PC's **** do I'd love to play it on xbox problem... I don't own a Xbox... I have a PS3. Is it being made ffor PS3? They'd get more money I think they should.

No mojang signed a contract with microsoft , so not anytime soon .
1. how the xbox will handle chunk generation. Will it be stored or only loaded when visible?
2. Being on a console, the world size is going to have to be considerably less than the PC version. How big are we talking here? Will we still have enough space for oceans and giant land massess, or is it going to be much much smaller?
3. Related to above, how will boundaries be defined? Invisible walls? Chunk load errors, a la "far lands," or will there simply be a kill barrier?
4. How will "servers" work? Will the world only be online if the host is online, or will there be an option to host an actual server? (For all you PC lovers out there: yes, you can host games on separate servers with a console. You're not special, we got that too.)
5. How will the "regular" updates work? Free, hopefully? And how regular are they going to be?
6. ???
7. Profit!
I know that's a lot, and I don't expect most or any of them to be answered, but I thought I'd post them anyway. Here's to the 9th!
1 Is this coming out in Australia and when?
2 what version will it be (example 1.5, 1.2.0)
3 is it exactly the same as on pc were the world is huge and you can explore heaps or will this be that you cant walk any furhter than like 50 blocks?
Ps. i dont mean this all in a offencive way but i am wondering because i want it to be as good as on pc and not just a waste of money.
Well it is , and isn't. If they were going to make it on PS3 they would have to recode it a second time to work on PS3 . A pretty big mess with the ram situation on PS3 also.

Yeah, but I've got two choices
1). Sell my Xbox and buy a gaming PC for $800-$1200 which I'll be able to play Minecraft and many other new games as well as use it as a home theater system.
2).Make a new account on Xbox solely to buy Minecraft...
I think I'll be going with option 1, which is a pity really, I would've loved to be in a MW2 lobby and just say "hey lets ditch these noobs and play Minecraft" "Yeah, ok" but alas, will never happen :'(

*facepalm*
it isn't a common drop, and cocoa beans don't even make sense as a "rare" item, so quit whining.
