We have been covering all things related to the upcoming MCX360 release, and it's been pretty sweet to see the game evolve on a new platform. Still, wouldn't it be awesome to see it first-hand, to get an idea of what it's about, how it is similar and different from its PC counterpart? If so, we have something that just might interest you.
We have been given preview access to Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, and we're putting together a collection of videos for you guys! We hope to show off the game's various features in some depth, so you can see for yourself if it is a worthwhile game to grab. While we have a solid idea of the sort of gameplay footage that we want to capture, we would very much like to hear what you would like to see! What sort of things would interest you most in a video preview of MCX360? Some ideas might include:
How does the new crafting system work?
Do the mobs behave in the same way?
How do minecarts work in Multiplayer?
What's the experience of joining Multiplayer like?
Tell us what YOU want to see in a preview, and we will make it happen! Be sure to head over here, and vote on your favorite choices - or if they aren't there yet, add them! You can also read all about Minecraft XBOX Edition on minecraftwiki.net. The official launch day for the game is May 9th 2012 on XBLA, for $20 (1600 MS Points). Don't miss out!

This week's Minecraft Weekly News covers cocoa beans, the future name change system and more - check it out!
Alright. Id like to see the footage of the menus and joining multiplayer through XBL. Also show more of the crafting methods and how to change your MC Skin in game. Is this linked to your MC account?
How will placing Nether Portals work? Will we have access to a "coordinates" screen like the "F5" on PC? If not, how will we properly link Portals from the Nether to the surface without having Nether Portals pop up every where like on the PC
I'd like to know how the rendering looks. More specifically, how can you change the render distance to affect gameplay.
•Does having a shorter and or longer render distance make the game run smoother for Multiplayer?
•How does the fog look?
•Is there even an option to changing the render distance, or is it permanently set at far?
•How many chunks load at once?
•How high is the max build height?
I would really like to see minecraft on Playstation 3 just like on XBOX 360, but also if i have an minecraft account cani just download the game free on to my gaming console?
I'm a little worried D: when you play mutliplayer online can it be with 8 seperate players? or just 2 players with 4 players on each xbox? and when you play online cooperative does it put you into split screen with the other player in your game? or do you have your seperate screens? please answer as i'm very excited about this game
I'm pretty sure you'll only share a screen with whoever else is on the same console as you.

agreed
You continue going until you hit "phantom blocks" and you fall through them to your death. If you fly past them, your game becomes corrupted.
Also, to the update, NOOOOOOOOOO! JEB, NOOOOO! Jeb is making all rare items common drops!!!!!!!
Maybe you should click this?
