It really bugs me that all the wood turns into different kinds of planks. It just seems overdone. I guess I'll ajust tho. I give it a 5 out of 10 for a small update.
I am glad to see a bug fix release but I am disappointed that it did not fix the two most annoying bugs:
Game often starting with no sound (failure to detect the correct sound device?)
After any form of teleportation (i.e.: /home or warp), if the chunk wasn't already loaded the player renders before the blocks, starts falling, and suffocates once the blocks he should be standing on render.
I must say that I'm not happy with this update.
For only adding a few bug fixes, now I have to wait a week for my server to update which is what I logged into Minecraft to play on.
There's a bug that is in nobody's attention.
Basically, if you use a world seed, you crash
It has nothing to do with anyone's computer.
It's a bug, that NEEDS to be fixed by Jeb.
I can't use a world seed, which takes the
point out of adventuring in minecraft.
A ) Not using mods, meaning no constantly updating.

B ) Already owning MC for PC and not having to give Microsoft any money.
Bliss. Also, one or two crash bugs have been fixed but it seems there are one or two new ones. Still, new wood blocks are good for variety, new sandstone blocks are awesome...just wish there were ways to craft the decorative stone block in survival as there is with the new sandstone blocks >.>

I don't have a problem. Every single one of the mods I'm regularly using have all been updated to 1.2.4, and been so for nearly a day
I know not everybody has that same experience, so I do feel their pain. Besides, I hope this updating of the mods is soon going to be something of the past.
