Are you kidding me.. the nether barely has any use & then they decide to make a new realm... Is it just me or is Minecraft slowly becoming about quantity instead of quality? I mean really there's a ton of items/block in minecraft that should have more uses instead of just adding more items/realms/blocks/whatever. And this saddens me D:

I'm pretty sure this'll be in 1.9 considering that all content updates end on the 18th. From then till release, Notch and Jeb will be working exclusively on bugfixes and optimization so the game runs great with few bugs at release. After that, they'll make more content, as in DLC that Alpha players get for free, and Beta players have to buy. So it's being added either by the 18th or after release.
Oh, and in case anyone says, "Why do Beta players have to pay for new stuff after release?", the reason players that bought the game in Alpha get free everything is because we bought Minecraft back when it could've flopped and made us waste our money. Beta came out after Minecraft was definitely going to survive and thrive. Think of it as Notch and company rewarding Alpha players for taking a risk and trusting them when Minecraft was still in its earliest stages.
Ok i don't know where people are getting these crazy ideas . If you read the terms of use/agreement I forget which it says copying and pasteing "Please note that when you buy the game, you're paying for the game as it is right now! You will also get the full version of Minecraft when it is released. " and in the terms of use "Purchases during the development of the game are discounted and include the full game upon release." This is what it says so don't worry about paying again.Also for alpha buyers even DLC is free but DLC CAN cost money for beta purchasers .There most likely will be some free DLC but it's not confirmed. I hope i've cleared a few things up.
Do you know how happy I was when it said Minecraft for Android? Killed it when my (very crappy do not get this phone, seriously do not) Samsung Gravity, I was upset, then the 6.99 hit, I would pay that again for Minecraft, but my damn phone. QQ.
Oh yes, we're already being sued by Bethesda. Let's just add dragons that will also be prominent in their up and coming game. That should put their minds at ease.
Since patch 1.9 isn't even out yet; and Notch posted that they were going to halt all updates on the 18th until the official release, does that mean that patch 1.10, the patch to complete the adventure update, is going to cost money?
