What if... Enderdragons... Fly around in the desert... And if they hit you with a beam or something, you get teleported to the enderrealm and need to find a way out, eh?
If I helped in any way, don't click that little green +, instead tell me how awesome I am.(I'm not so stuck up that I have to ask people to rep me, grow up people.)
I had an idea for endermen i sent to notch. I said endermen should build towers around you, that are very hard to get out of, then put some lava on the top, to kill you. Is this my idea? Part of it? None of it? I hope he took my suggestion! Maybe he could make it better, who knows?
If you can find those ender portals in strongholds, (thx yogscast!) than would that mean that the endermen built the strongholds???? And i personally like the glass towers. They add a sense of, mystery to the game!
I think I MIGHT get what Notch is going for here. Think of it this way: on a graph, the X is space, the Y is pleasantness, and the Z is time. The normal world is the neutral value, or (0,0,0). the Nether is a hell-like place, which (though I'm probably reading too far into this) if it's so accessible, would be common knowledge for the residents of the normal world, probably viewed as Hell. This means it's directly related to the normal world, and is less pleasant, which would be (0,-1,0).
The "Ender" seems pretty scary, but it isn't all fire and brimstone like the Nether. In fact, it seems rather livable. Considering the Endermen are Ender Men, this would suggest not something disturbing, but something.... different. In other words, on this theoretical world graph, the Ender would be somewhere to the side. Since there isn't any obvious timeline in Minecraft, this could mean anything from alternate dimension to the pre-normal world, full of primordial entities and materials that would later evolve into this one. time shenanigans are pretty outlandish though, so I'd say the Ender is either (1,0,0) or (-1,0,0) though it might have some negative value on the Y as well.
As I said, I may be reading too far into this (in fact it's a step from certain) but this makes logical sense to me. If the Nether is below and the normal world is in the center, than the Ender could be to the left or right. When the sky world happens it will be above.
Oh, and I'm guessing 1.11 for this :tongue.gif: (or full release - whichever comes first)
Either 1.9 or after full because Notch has already said that the plan is to halt new development on Oct 18 so they can focus on bug fixes, code cleanup, and optimization for a month before release (Nov 18). Source
You'll usually find me in the General Off Topic section. Also quote when you reply so I can see!
