If anyone can telll me how to make this run on a bukkit server that would be awesome, I got my own hosted server and won't play singleplayer anymore, I wish there was a way to get mods like this one on bukkit, I've heard about spout but I got lost reading the needed requirements and I'm afraid the server ram would be pushed to its limit without anyone online.
I'm assuming the reason the whole "Manly Men" thing is all over this, is because Eloraam is a girl, and its more of a poking fun at her.
That I have to explain a joke pains me, it's indicative of the joke's failure.
Anyway, yes - the entire point was that Eloraam - the mod creator - is female, and made something mind-blowingly amazing. Industrial pastimes are typically associated as a male activity, and an overly masculine one at that. This is why I deliberately made it a point to say "SHE is so manly SHE could twist your head clean off with HER mind." Note the emphasis - it was very intentional that I conveyed that point.
I spoke with her at length during video production, and we both walked through a great deal of the mod together - it's the only reason I understand the mod as well as I do now. She is a highly talented woman who has every ounce of my respect, and the video's intent is to be a tongue-in-cheek homage, not a promotion of misogyny. As over-the-top as it is, I'm honestly surprised there's any confusion at all. XD
If I thought for even a moment that Eloraam were the tiniest bit offended by the presentation, I wouldn't still have that video up. If I didn't respect her work, I wouldn't have spent 12+ hour days producing a video showcasing it.
Cool mod and clearly a lot of effort on presenting it. I hate it when really poor presentation steals from the video content, and the same is true with too much emphasis/silly stuff in the presenting of something.
In this case the mocked up uber-man voice was almost as distracting as the cockney accents from those two brits that keep doing youtube vids.. almost.

We need to be able to play minecraft on the computer that is powered by the redpower. So we could see ourselves play minecraft while playing minecraft.
Anyway, redstones are really useful, and gives us lots of possibility while playing minecraft. But it is too hard for me to learn how to use it, that i after trying for so long, looking up at the nets and videos i am still unable to use redstone properly. argh

I caught the joke xD I was also a bit disappointed that no one (or almost no one) caught on to it. It's probably because no one ever checked her profile page, seems like not a lot of players check people's profile pages. However, I do agree and the video was quite awesome. If only I had video editting skills myself. Diamond Pants for you sir!

I feel your pain. I didn't know Eloraam was a woman until I heard you referring to her as SHE in the video but even without knowing, the whole commentary was so over the top that it was obviously a joke and I enjoyed it greatly. However, I was sure few would get that which was the main reason I went to check out the comments here and yup...
Big fan of your spotlights (that voice, I can't help it!) and that mod has been in my watch list for ages. One day I'm sure I'll be manly enough to actually try it.
Keep it up, you guys!
