I'm really interested in the 0x10c game. The concept is interesting but it sounds like a pain in the butt to figure out how to play if you're going to get anywhere in it.
What I'm really interested is in the online concept. I'd really like to know how that would play out.
If you want to take a "walk" through a very early prototype of 0x10^c, Notch "accidentally" released a version of the game which you can get a copy of from this forum thread:
Notch mentioned on Reddit that he didn't mind people playing around with the software, although it should be noted this is very primitive and about all you can do is walk around a single room and use the DCPU computer. If you want to get a feel for this new game, it is at least a good way to take a peek.
Another website to look at the "official" computer that Notch developed for this game can be found here:
dcpu.com is registered to Mojang, if you want to know if this is "official" or question the source.
A much more extensive version that includes a revamped computer design as well as "level building tools" for creating the interior of a spaceship are going to be released "soon", implying something on the order of a week or so and I would guess that it would be released before June. At least that is my guess, and Notch has been pretty busy. He did a video screen capture presentation showing off the level editing tools about a week ago, and they look very interesting and very different than how Minecraft building happens. I'm looking forward to trying out those tools even if they are rather primitive compared to what the game will become in the future.

Version 2.1 now updated for MC 1.6.2
Also, I can't wait until we are able to trade with NPC villagers. That will be a lot of fun!
