Guys... everyone who's wailing about the hunger bar, I heard they're gonna make a mode called Realistic where there's the hunger bar, and you need to drink and sleep or you'll eventually die. So only Realistic has the hunger bar.
Not much new here. This is pretty much just a summary of what we already know.
We've already been told about the new meats (chicken, lamb, and beef.)
Villages are optional, but it's not like that's really needed as you can just destroy them.
Survival mode as we know it is going to be gone with all these new changes. It will probably be more modular with the player being able to pick and choose features.
XP bar was already confirmed. It resets each death and you can pretty much ignore it if you want. We still don't know what levels will actually affect. Probably optional.
Jeb refused to comment on the new NPCs.
We did learn about hunger bar's health restoration/loss. Still assuming this to be optional (referring to previous "realistic difficulty" mentions.)
We already knew about sprinting and dungeons.
I see some confusion regarding Survival Mode, the Adventure update, and Adventure Mode. For those who don't know: Adventure update and Adventure Mode are not the same thing. Adventure update adds to Survival Mode, while Adventure Mode will consist of player made dungeons and will not be implemented until after Minecraft is already released.
naw, cant wait for 1.8 and its release date.
It already seems very intersting
The Endermen look very scary though
I definently cant wait till npc trading
Also Mojang needs to provide better base server software
From what ive heard earlier, im guessing what he meant is it wont be an option to play in survival mode when you start up the game. It will probably still exist on another download, and according to previous information, its going to be free.
