Notch went up against the Yogcast in a "Tactical war" with his fans Against The Yogcast. They have over 1200000 subs and even more fans but I'm sure Notch has more or very close to that he struck the first blow but left himself open The Yogcast responded in a well thought clam manner that got rid of what notch said. Notch has nothing in this argument so he lost his only hope is to give them a well thought apology not even really for them just addressed to them the fans want it most something more than a one liner that he has given us Its childish on Notch's part.As you can see I support the Yogcast
I'm SO GLAD you could care less! Because that means you care a ton. Or, oh no, did you mean you couldn't care less? Whoops. Learn the English language.
He's kind of counteracting his apology by immediately falling back on the thing he originally apologized for.. on Twitter, in public. Again.
Sigh.
Edit: Seriously, hire a PR person and run public statements through them, Notch. If your Twitter is going to be the source for Mojang news, and be on the frontpage, it's going to be considered public statements for the company.
I think making it public was a huge mistake. This isn't something I would think a successful man who made a very popular game to act would do but what's done is done. Internet Drama's are for "hipsters".
However I can't wait until we can all forget about this and go back to modding things for Minecraft.
Oh my god people, stop whiningggg.
He apologized for making it public and for being a '****' to the Yogscast. Can't you just accept it like the Yogscast will? We're all human here, you understand mistakes, now understand their mistakes and forgive.
They couldnt have been telling the truth either, clearly! (Misclicked on rep, FFFUUU ^^)
Well its pretty clear the did swear in front of children, i.e. on the videos they showed. But Notch OK'ed it all beforehand so he doesnt really have much to complain about.
At and in front of are also two entirely different concepts. That post gave the impression of, at least, "What I said was right, I'm just sorry for saying so on Twitter.". Whether it's all true or not, what I'm pointing out is that it isn't going to be over, whether fortunate or unfortunate, because nothing is getting filtered through a PR person. Nevermind the damage he's done both to his own company and the livelihood of some people who make a living off of doing videos, and as of yet, has not come up with any evidence. Future opportunities for conventions and other such occasions will be passed up, because any company that would have offered anything to them will first check into the history and see this, and decide that it's safer not to invite them. They'll also decide the same for Notch, because in the business world, better safe than sorry.
This is a really huge screwup, he's dug himself into a hole and drug several people down with him. And if that makes me a fanboy, well, I guess I'm a fanboy of proper Public Relations personnel.
I just went and looked at notch's whole twitter page and i have good news! Notch said he didn't lie but he is sorry for being a ****, and yogscast forgave notch-SO ALL IS WELL! Let us live on as a happy community!
At least Notch had the guts to recognize and apologize for his contribution to the fight. The Yogcast's perfect little me approach is kind of pathetic because unless they did something there would not be a fight at all.
So when some kid gets bullied for no reason and the bully goes "he started it", both parties are at fault?
That would only hold true if Notch was a bully. But Notch has had a good and strong history of friendly interactions with his fans and followers. If Notch is anything he is not a bully or a lier. Yogscast did something to set him off, even if they are too proud to admit it.
<3 Yogscast and Notch.
Oh god, please no "Team Notch" or "Team Yogscast" or whatever. That's like Twilight with Team Edward or Team Jacob.
*Shivers* Stupidity at its best..
Well they obviously couldn't tell the truth either? Besides, its done now.

Spell it!

Grow up, jeez
A Runner's View! An awesome parkour map for 1.9 and up!

Don't worry, I lost that a long time ago.

thats sums up the entire episode lols
edit:
its kinda of sad for all the yogcast blind haters but its awesome that this is done now
