5000000 people bought it, but there's 20000000 users? Mojang needs to add something to the website giving people a week to buy the game, before their account is removed, because that is ridiculous.
So over about $75 Million in sales? Assuming the selling average is $15? No matter if the number is less or more, the point is... thats a lot of money.

They waste time raising money with Mojam and so on, when they could have bought bukkit and made it official and be working hard on making is standard, fast, documented and easy to use. There is so much they could be doing.
im more interested in the picture than the sales to be honest... for some reason i feel like minecraft is no longer about the people but more about notch... he doesnt even program minecraft anymore. hats off to you jebs.
Congratulations Mojang. I'm sure there will be more and more users to come, and I hope to see Minecraft expanding further and the team making an effort to make the game even better. The game + mods + bukkit (and its endless plugins) just make the game so much more diverse and entertaining and show how much you can customize Minecraft. Great game.
